Reading about Dan Moore...

and I must say, I'm impressed.

Without anyone asking him to he's apparently undergone quite the off season transformation.
Got a chef, changed his workout regime, put on a lot of muscle and is up to 320.

He did all this before knowing who the draft pick was.

Now if B.Jones is what we hope and Moore slides over to RT (practiced here without being asked as well),
we could really have a special group.

Bravo to the young man for taking initiative and working hard. It's good to see.

this could put Chuks on the trade/capcasualty block next year. Moore might not give up LT so easy either, so Jones will have to prove his worth

I believe Dan Moore will be a long term player on this OLine.    Im just not exactly sure where.

I believe if he wins RT this year and is even solid, we should extend him at a decently friendly price for a few years next offseason.   I still truly believe he can be a very good guard, so even if we perhaps upgrade at RT, we could shift him inside if and when Daniels leaves.

I see alot of Ramon Foster in Dan Moore.   Not the most talented guy, but a guy who works hard, gives 100% and ultimately just the type of player you WANT on your team.

I see this similar . I just don't know if he will lose his LT job, so this gets interesting with Jones. Chuks with his cap, will be traded next year, unless somehow he starts run blocking much better. Pulling for Moore, I never cared for the critics of his especially considering how well he played last half of the season and how he has done vs Myles and a few others. He has the odd lapse, but other than that, has been solid  .

Ramon Foster is a good comparison. Foster was a tackle at UT.

Yup, and I think Moore translates better to the inside, much like Foster.   However, if he can prove himself to be a solid RT, Im obviously good with that too.    Having our bookends set for most of Kenny's career (pending he ends up being our long term starter, of course) would be huge.

This is how these guys make a living. I am also glad to see someone who "wants to do well" and improve his knowledge, skills, and abilities. Dan Moore seems to want it. Despite drafting a potential LT with more natural abilities, he isn't going to go down without a fight and was preparing for a challenge before there was one.

An even different (more aggressive) approach than Dotson coming into years two and three.

I wish that Devon Bush had the same attitude, passion to succeed, and maturity.  He's a guy who had more natural ability. but displayed less drive and passion (in my opinion) than Moore.  Sometimes it is just simply the maturity of each individual.   Bush seemed to say, "Oh, well, someone else will want me because I have talent."

Dan Moore is saying, "I am just going to better myself and compete."  Sometimes that is the difference between 9-7-1 or 9-8 and 11-6 or 12-5 and a play-off or championship team.  "hearts on fire. Strong desires.....

I’d like to see Moore go to right tackle next year. I think right tackle is the weakest position on this team going into the year, and it will prove out, unfortunately, particularly in the running game…there is no way Chucks sees all that money. I believe the Steelers will be drafting a swing tackle in the mid rounds next year.
