I like that a lot more than the Luka comps you see floating around. With how much people seem to be trying to force it into existence, it probably won't happen, but I'd love to see him in SA. The length and athleticism of NBA perimeter defenders will probably cause him some problems early on, with how much space he needs on his set shot with the low loading point, but I think he will eventually adapt and become a solid shooter. He can elevate enough when he pulls up off the dribble from mid range. I don't think he's nearly as crafty as Luka, he really reminds me of Giddey in the way he gets to his spots, if he can shoot that's a really good NBA player. Jeezla
Give my Spurs Topic at 2 or 3, and then one of Sheppard or Castle with the Toronto pick. Preferably Sheppard. Zvonimir Ivisic and some wings in round 2.
Texansfan713
ESPN tryna push this narrative that this years draft isnt as bad as people think. Nah we not doing that.

It's the one year I'd say the Pistons should trade the pick. But instead they'll get the #1 without top odds LOL
Jeezla
2025 class definitely looks better. 2026 too. That Boozer kid already looks 24 years old. Bunch of 17 year olds with full sleeves these days. Edited February 14 by Jeezla
Jeezla
If the Raptors end up with like pick 4, does the pick they owe San Antonio then become unprotected next year? Do the Spurs just lose the pick? I don't really understand these "convey" picks. Never mind, found the answer Quote The Spurs own the Raptors’ 2024 pick as long as it doesn’t fall in the top six. If it does, Toronto gets to keep it and will owe San Antonio their 2025 first-round pick unless it falls in the top six. The same applies to their 2026 pick. If it hasn’t been conveyed by then, then they will owe the Spurs two second-rounders, one in 2026 and one in 2027. That sounds so dumb. You might get pick 7. Or you might get two second rounders instead? How does it get worse the longer it takes to get compensation? It should be the opposite. If that pick hasn't conveyed in 3 years, it should become unprotected, not turned into second rounders. NBA is weird with these pick protections. NYRaider
Dalton Knecht is going to be a good NBA player for a long time.

I like Topic, Buzelis, Williams, and Risacher at the top of the draft. I don't think any of them will be stars but they'll all be high end role player #3/4 options, IMO. Then you have guys like Sheppard, Dillingham, Knecht, etc in the late lottery that look like they'll be good pros. And a bunch of wild cards like Collier, Salaun, Holland, Edwars, etc who have high end NBA tools but are just super raw.
Texansfan713
This year is the absolute worst year to have a top pick. Thats why I'm not mad we are giving up a potential lottery pick to OKC. I'm hoping the Rockets are able to trade the Nets first rounder in a package for someone.
