rlon
Most recently photographed holding a purse, lol, now on the PUP. Whoever traded for him, whoever’s idea that was for Chicago, should quite simply be fired. Absolutely the most incompetent move to give that kind of draft capital for such an underperforming head case, with no ball skills. I actually feel bad for Bears’ fans. 43M
We traded him for JPJ. If Peezy Jr becomes even a decent starter, we win this trade rather easily. Not sure what happened to Claypool. As a rookie he looked so good out of the gate. Right after Ben went downhill, so did he. One of the dumber trades Ive seen in awhile, but Im not complaining. August4th
seems like we always win when we trade a WR. even the AB trade ended up working in our favor lol

Bryant barely played either. Teams should know better by now.
Squanchy
I think the only receiver I can think of that thrived for a long period elsewhere was Sanders. Unless I’m missing someone.

JustPlainNasty
We didnt trade Sanders though. He just signed in Denver. Unfortunately he was the third/4th wheel and was technically being held back here. Plax also was not traded he just signed elsewhere. If Pittsburgh is trading you a receiver, buyer beware. Id say the most successful trade for another team in recent times was Holmes and Pittsburgh was also technically cutting bait, the main reason that was successful is because we didnt get too much back, but in realty i believe we turned that pick into Willie Gay or some switch of those 5th rounders any way. JustPlainNasty
Yancey Thigpen, one of the more forgotten receivers in Steelers history went on to have a decent stint in Tennessee. Yancey was the best receiver this team had for about a 15 year period, probably even better as a WR than Louis Lipps and Plaxico imo as for what he meant to the offense and the team, imo.

Just Steelers WR that succeeded after leaving.
