I remember him being pretty good with Carolina. Any Pittsburgh or Washington fans with any insight on how he's played the past couple years or what went wrong? Looks like he just turned 30, so maybe there still some left in the tank?

He looked washed last year.  He was benched midseason and never got his starting job back.

You better hope this guy never gets on the field. There has to be some XFL or USFL young guy that is better than him that deserves a shot. He was the worst OL on one of the worst offensive lines in the league last year. He's awful.

Sounds like it could be a coaching problem?
If not, their scouting department sucks.

I thought he was decent but the rest of our line wasn't.  Not sure why they never considered keeping him, as dotson was a fail

I have to guess this is the end of the road for him now. Torn quads are notoriously hard to recover from. For a guy already running out of opportunities, losing a season like this is pretty much sticking a fork in him.

It's hard not to imagine that he was already hurt coming in.  That is some Antonio Bryant level stuff right there, without the mega contract
