Diggs and Cowboys sign NEW 5 year deal

Hope he can learn to tackle. He was pretty bad in the playoffs last year. I see why they signed him, the interceptions are great, and the contract isn’t horrible. I personally would try to squeeze a first and 3rd round pick out of a CB needy team. But alas, Diggs is here to stay.

The benefits of signing players early. He’d made ~$5M to date. He just deposited a $21M signing bonus check. Cowboys get a solid price tag for a really good player. Diggs gets his generational money a year early and eliminates injury downside. Everyone avoids drama. Wins all the way around.

These negotiations should be easy. Do the same thing with CeeDee and Biadasz.

I would’ve traded him if they got a first. He’s not a top flight, shutdown corner

I think the interception totals dazzle more than a few decision makers. He was really bad in SF, and TB. I don’t think he is horrible and love the ball skills, but I would have sold high.
