minutemancl
Hallelujah. Im honestly surprised his deal got done this offseason, but im definitely not mad about it. Imo, hes the best young LT in the league. I knew his contract would set a record, but I thought it'd be with avg/year or total value. Instead, he gets the record most guaranteed for an OL. Fine with me; he's still only 24 years old. He's just 2 months older than John Michael Schmitz.
redsoxsuck05
Andrew's the reason why we're not flipping out yet about Evan Neal sucking as a rookie.
ET80
Nobody: Nobody: Saquan (drinking a protein shake): I should play LT. I got the quads for it.

Any hope for Neal? Also correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Andrew bad as a rookie? I thought he was but maybe I am misremembering

No surprise that was Colombo’s lone season as Giants Oline coach. He also played through an ankle injury all rookie year which required a clean up procedure after the season.

I thought he was but maybe I am misremembering Yeah, Andrew was bad as a rookie. I meant that if it weren't for his massive improvement we would be less patient on Neal and he'd be called Erick Flowers 2.0. Neal was pretty terrible, showed some improvement mid-season, banged up his knee, then came back and played even worse. Of course there's hope for him because he's very talented and O-Lineman can be projects sometimes.

This is actually the first offseason in AT's career that he won't have had an offseason ankle procedure. That thing has needed clean up after clean up. He's the healthiest he's ever been right now (knock on wood). 1 hour ago, TakeTheBallDeep said: Any hope for Neal? Also correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Andrew bad as a rookie? I thought he was but maybe I am misremembering AT was bad as a rookie, but Neal was really bad as a rookie. There's lots of hope for Neal though; he's got all the physical tools in the world to succeed. He puts in the hard work. He's got a full year at RT under his belt now, and he's spent this offseason working with Willie Anderson (former Bengals RT) adjusting his stance, which was his biggest problem point last year. It was almost inexplicable how sometimes Neal was the slowest player on both lines out of his stance. Getting faster out of his stance and getting more comfortable balance-wise are going to do him so much good.
