Tired of ineptness of this team from the top down

1. Hunt fires Dorsey- Team did not suck prior to this.

2. Andy calling plays- then the D can't do anything again when we do make plays.

3. Alex .5, 1.0, 2.0  Slot machine Smith.

4. Injuries

5. To much protesting and not enough passion for the game.

6. Sutton is terrible, and so is Gaines.

7. Attitude, character problems, no self control at all.  This does NOT look like a pro team and it starts at the top.  Thank you Mr. Hunt for making it clear your the TOP.  One huge mistake and a trickle down effect came next.

Agree completely, until Mr Clark, pulls his spoiled head out, and pays as much attention to the Chiefs (big NFL $$$) as he does the stupid MLS Sporting KC (small $) we will never reach the top... always mediocre, supported by loyal fans

1. I'm still not happy with this. It'll still be another year or two before we can really judge if Veach was an upgrade or not.

2. Could go both ways with this. The D has given the O the ball on the final drive with the chance to win the game in at least 3 games during our streak. The O wasn't able to do it.

3. Nice guy but I'm ready for him to be backup/traded.

4. Every team has injuries. Our depth just isn't as good as we thought.

5. I think the losing has gotten to some. There needs to be some serious motivation from somewhere.

6. I'll get some heat here. But Sutton is doing fine. His play calling has been good. The execution has not. Our run D has improved a lot and against good RBs; Forte 3.9ypc, McCoy 2.2ypc, Darkwa 3.7ypc, Zeke 3.4ypc. The big thing that I will fault the D staff for is waiting so long to bench Gaines. There has to be something more that we as fans don't know/see. However, the switch was made a couple weeks ago. Is Sutton and his staff perfect? No, there is definitely room for improvement.

7. Losing is getting to the team. Andy needs to reel them in and get everyone focused on winning by doing their job. The team needs a really good Al Pacino Any Given Sunday type speech along with a week of intense practice. They also need to have a film session without holding back if they don't already.

This Dorsey team sucks, sure looks like the current GB model ATM. Some great receivers, and banking on the QB to cover up for terrible play across the roster

Dorsey banked on PM2, he wasn't dumb.

1. Not an issue with me. Except that Reid was able to consolidate power. That IS an issue with me. It will now be harder than removing an impacted molar to remove Reid and his gang now.

2. This is symptomatic of an out-of control, out-of-touch coaching staff. Reid can't concentrate on the offense because the DC has been a loser for so many years.

3. We all knew we had received an up/down Alex. If Reid didn't know when he traded for him, he's an idiot. But I think he knew because we gave up RICH DP's to get PMII.

4. All teams deal with this. We just weren't prepared. Exhibit 1. The defensive backs rostered. Exhibit 2. years of substandard ILB play.

5. Lack of focus by players. The coaching staff is guilty here. Making Peters sit while his Oakland buddies come to town is a nice first step in regaining control. I'll also point to the so-called locker room captains. They failed to reign in those players not focusing on their jobs and failing to execute. When did the players have a "come to Jesus" meeting?? Guys are too old or hurt and have lost some respect. Houston, Hali, Berry, DJ. Peters could be a captain, but he's too imature and part of the problem (so is T.Kelce) not the solution. Alex? (he's gone next year so why try). Alex can only seem to lead week to week. K.Hunt? He's still too young. T.Hill? same thing. This team will need more time, games and seasons to grow up.

6. All I can say is ditto's.

7. see number 5.

One problem is we have drafted numerous guys with off the field issues recently (Kelce, Hill, Peters, Chris Jones ...) and believed that would work with our veteran leadership. Except now Jamaal and Maclin are gone, Berry and Tamba are injured, DJ and Alex are gone next year too and the next generation to (Houston, Kelce, Parker etc) aren't leaders. We need to bring leadership next offseason.

I liked Dorsey, but this is on him too. No way we can judge Veach this early.

As for the coaching, Reid has his faults for sure. But let's be real here, it's our first bad season since he got here and we're still at .500 tied for the AFCW lead. Before him we went to the playoffs like twice in 10 years. I trust him to figure it out, maybe not this year but next year with a new QB and Berry back. I like Nagy, and honestly his playcalling vs the Jets has been great. Barring a miraculous run starting now and going deep into the PO, Sutton is probably gone.

Players wise we need a big overhaul in the offseason I believe: new QB (Mahomes), new WR2, a couple of new OL, 2 interior DL, 1 pass rusher, 1 LB and 1 or 2 corners plus better depth in the back 7. By cutting Alex, DJ, Bailey, Tamba, Revis and Harris we would have 40M of cap. Add in Fisher (9,7M), Parker (6M) and/or Ford (8,7M) and you can go up to 63,7M. That's a lot of cap room to work with.

Whoa, dude. That's alot of players. Do you want to throw PMII out there behind that inexperience? Honestly, we had the chance to overhaul the roster last draft with all of the picks we had. But someone thought they were smarter. So here we are, still needing to do massive lifting.

Honestly we had no money to keep those draft picks

I just feel like this draft was Dorsey giving us the middle finger. Silly names and lesser talent. Outside of Kareem and PM

We spent last years and this years gold on PMII. We previously gave massive, ridiculous and/or guaranteed, contracts to many players. This tied our hands to some extent. The Chiefs shot themselves in both feet on that one.

well a better WR2 than Conley would help Mahomes. A better LG than Witzmann also. I think we should bring in someone instead of Fisher because he's vastly overpaid, but I doubt we do it.

And on defense yeah, we have to rebuild. Find a NT next to Chris Jones. Find a LB to complement Ragland. Find an edge rusher to play alongside Houston and let Ford play as a pass rush specialist. Find a CB2. Bring competition for Nelson in the slot.

Im not tmreally confident in Mahomes ability in the pocket from what i saw in PS so im okay with the OL for now

I wonder if using those draft picks and trading up for a QB this year would have been a better option
