NateDawg
DTR cares more about a 3rd preseason game than anyone in Philly so I have the Browns winning.

Very true Nate. This is what DTR has earned by his play in the first two preseason games - the right to play against "better' competition. I don't know if the Eagles will play any starters or key backups. Those are factors beyond DTR's control. What DTR can do is go through the game day routine as a starter. His play will determine how fast he continues to ascend towards QB2 status. So far, the results have been promising. But - he still is a rookie yet to play his first regular season NFL game.

brooks1957
Probably won't see any starters and very few of the key backups. If you are a football junkie like me - there are plenty of reasons to watch this game. QBs: Want to see how DTR handles pressure by guys trying to crack a stud defensive lineup. He has the physical gifts to avoid pressure, I am interested to see if his mental game matches it. As far as Mond goes, I think he is a long shot to make this roster now. He needs a really special performance to change those opinions. RBs: John Kelly - answer the door. It's opportunity knocking. You can waylay all your competition with a solid game. If Felton wants to make this roster, it will behoove his chances by making splash plays. Force the Browns to consider keeping 4 RBs. I don't think he is needed as a WR, but could be valuable as a receiving option out of the backfield or a backup kick returner. TEs: Have we seen Harrison Bryant yet this preseason? If not, his roster spot grow more perilous by the day. Paiden Mitchell (#83) has planted his stake for Bryants touches. OL: This is the big area I want to see. Philly's DL will be a stiff test even without the starters. This may be a big game for Hudson. Want to see more of Jones and Wypler. DL: Again opportunity is knocking for Siaki Ika and the other rotational players. With the addition of Shelby Harris our 4 starters are locked down. We need to find confidence in our other options beyond the starters. LBs: I want to see solid coverage out of the backfield and tight ends. And the tackling needs to be better than last Friday. That left quite a bit to be desired. DBs: Looking for solid depth players. Obviously, no one wants to get toasted over the top, but I don't want to see Eagles just running free 15-20 yards downfield. STs: Corey B and Charley Hughlett are ready to go. If anyone ever needed a solid game - it's Cade York. He needs to make a few consecutive kicks so he can breathe again. And lastly - smart coaching, and NO INJURIES.

Im not sure if thats because he is in the plans to be the Browns passing down RB or if that's because they want to get a good look at him knowing he is on the bubble. Probably the latter. - I think people are downplaying Jordan Atkins and his role on this team. Its him who is going to be taking Bryants snaps/position. Njoku apparently has looked unguardable throughout TC/Preseason but Atkins is the vet they brought in who played with Watson before and will be TE2 while Bryant is pushed to TE3. - I want to see somebody make a play and not just be uneventful. Anybody. With Taki out, starters not playing and Phillips on IR--Im not even sure who we are trotting out there. If there is one time we could find a diamond in the rough who can fly around and 'pop' from the LB unit, we need it now. Now that I think about it, I would like to transition Bell to OLB. Hes either going to be buried on the roster as a Safety or could potentially earn some time if he moved to OLB.
MSURacerDT55
- I honestly want to see how we do vs Jalen Carter, I think he is Jerome Brown reincarnated - Of course DTR, I love how he is just maximizing the opportunity he has, he is working and doing the small things to become a quality NFL QB. I want to see how he handles making mistakes, is he going to freak out about it or know he is going to make mistakes and lock back in and go right back to making smart decisions. - I actually want to continue to watch Nick Harris, I didn't hear a lot of people say it but I watched him specifically in those games and he was really good - We all need to see something positive from Cade York, if he misses a kick especially form 50 or less, we need to take the kids gloves off when dealing with him. - I need to see someone else on the 2nd/3rd team pop, this would be a great opportunity for McGuire to make some plays and show more promise.
