minutemancl
Are there any guys your team has cut, or picked up from another team, that are now starting or playing significant roles? I'm talking either this year or recently. Jason Pinnock was cut by the Jets last offseason, picked up by the Giants, and will be the starting SS for the Giants this year after a 4 person battle in camp. He looks poised to have a breakout year.
malak1
I wasn't thrilled when the Bears cut Khyiris Tonga.
adamq
Jake Brendel was a cut by the 49ers in 2021.. brought back the next offseason and started every game last year at center. Was re-signed this year Richie James Jr was a cut who ended up getting a lot of run in NY. Could catch a lot of balls in KC this year River Cracraft was also a cut, went to Miami and has a small role there

But I thought he was just a run plugger. Has he done more than that since entering the league? Also, to the OP. I would have to think that a team's cuts have to have been picked up by another team for it to really be a mistake. If the player is good, but he is on your PS, chances are, he gets elevated at some point in the season.
Packerraymond
The Jaguars letting Rudy Ford go last year and the Cardinals letting Rasul Douglas sit on the PS has really benefitted the Packers.
Wyld Stallyns
CB Darrell Baker Jr. was an UDFA with Arizona in 2022, he was signed to the Colts practice squad and spent the year there until a week 15 call up. He is now going to start at outside corner for the Colts because he has played so well.
GW21
Chris Hogan put together a pretty decent career after being cut by the Niners as a rookie.
Trojan
James Harrison and Jeff Saturday for recentish arguable HOF careers, I think both started as Ravens cuts same with Darren Waller.
