I’m going to go on a limb here… and say that UT beats Alabama by 6. It’ll be a tight game, but I expect Jalen Milroe will throw a pair of picks late that’ll give the Longhorns the game. I think this will be a coming out party for UT Soph RB Jonathan Brooks; I think he’ll get about 150 total yards and a few scores, with more than half coming out of the receiving game.

By 10, whaddya know; not a breakout game for Brooks, but he did have a score. Quinn Ewers had his best game as a collegiate player - consistent and hit all parts of the field with his passes. Worthy, AD Mitchell and Ja’Tavion Sanders are all NFL top 96 prospects; Sanders might be the best TE not named Brock Bowers, he’s a slick TE and is going to make some QB happy at the next level. If Worthy and Ewers have their timing down, Worthy might shoot up boards as an inside slot guy who can get deep while lined up on the perimeter.

Jalen Milroe is a massive project, akin to someone like Malik Willis - he’s got disgusting traits but he has no clue on how to use them. He’s got time to iron it all out, but this is what ‘Bama QBs look like when they don’t have a fleet of future NFL guys on the WR depth chart. Nick Saban needs to hit the recruiting trail and transfer portal to get his next few WR classes.

He will get benched in a few weeks and the next guy will be a 1st round QB

Milroe? I mean, I think he’s got a lot of potential as a RS Soph. I just also think he’s got nothing to work with, this is the worst Alabama offense I’ve seen in decades. There’s nothing at the skill positions on offense, and this is from a school that’s had an offensive FRP every year for nearly 20 years - this offense is BAD, I don’t think it’s all Milroe.
