rlon
Tomlin has a relationship with Gruden, and many of us may lose our careers if drunken posts/emails got out…lol. I hate to see someone lose so much for something so stupid. If the offense can’t perform against the Browns, consider hiring him as a special consultant. He can stand by as a potential interim replacement…a black head coach giving him a second chance, as an assistant, good story…don’t know how people would react to that one though…

Steeler Hitman
I would say no at this time. I am a strong proponent of giving second, third, and fourth..... chances. If a man falls seven times, allow him to get up eight. But then again, I am an unashamed man of faith. Yes everyone has said and done things in their past (some of us the active present) 😉😀😅🤣😂 It is game one and they have committed to Matt Canada for this season. This is his last shot to improve. The expectation is to see substantial growth from this team. They (The Steelers offense, defense, and special teams) need to execute as well. Matt Canada was not getting beat at the LOS in the trenches on both sides of the ball, in poor pass coverage, throwing inaccurate passes, and missing tackles. Not to mention the poor punting after showing improvement in preseason. As much as I don't think Matt Canada is a great OC for this team, they certainly did not do much as an offense to help him. Over the past few years, the Steelers have had more than their fair share of drama and being media cannon fodder. John Gruden would bring that back. This team needs to focus on playing football and getting better.
