Cam Akers and Leonard Fournett are terrible

Fournett is so slow and can’t break any tackles. Akers is just below average across the board and fumbles a lot.

Hunt is definitely better it’s just we got frustrated with him last year and he’s nothing special.

I disagree, hunt looked slow and plodding last year, on top of that there have been several RB needy teams already this season as well as the offseason and nobody has signed him…. Either he is asking for too much money or he looks washed. You can’t replace Chubb but bringing Kareem back imo is not going to solve anything

I don’t think anyone is going to solve anything. Fournette and Akers are worse than Hunt though.

Fournette was the bell cow back for the lowest YPC team in NFL history. Akers has fumbling and attitude problems and doesn’t do anything well

At least Hunt can catch and knows the plays. 3 bad options.

I just know we can't afford to abandon the run and give the keys to Watson. Whether that's bringing John Kelly up so he slam into defenders for 3 yards at a time or bring Hunt in to do that. I think Ford had some really electric runs, but we probably should be rotating him in with somebody else.

I’m not saying we should abandon the run, but we should tailor this offense 100% to Watson.

Before last night you still had to factor in Chubb’s preferences because he is THAT good.  Now you don’t.  This needs to be exactly as Watson prefers, no middle ground.

All that said, scheme hasn’t been the issue at all.  Cooper and Moore were number 6 and 8 in the league week 1 in average separation.  Guys were open last night.  The issue is our QB isn’t getting them the ball and is turning it over.

Yeah I mean if Watson can't make throws to open guys 5-15 yards downfield we are probably cooked. I have no idea what we are going to do different to make him comfortable that is going to become easier without Chubb's preferences since Chubb seemed pretty effective in any situation. I know our staff can usually get an effective ground game going if the QB is keeping the defense a little bit honest.

I'm way more in on Stefanski than I am Watson right now, which is unfortunately not how we have used our assets.
