The Texans paid him all up front and so did we, but we guaranteed him through 2026, so he’s going to cash checks and wreck this entire organization back to levels we have not seen since the expansion days, but without any draft ammunition or salary cap room. Guaranteed contract whether or not he plays well, plays poorly, or plays at all. The coaching staff and front office is going to either thrive, or go down with the ship. Personally, I don’t think he has the drive to reach that next level, I think he is content being what he is as a player and cashing giant paychecks here.
