CAS22
Can't wait for the Mariners to sign Ohtani and then everyone to pick them to win the AL West. Going to be delicious.

Going to be delicious. People have been picking them to win the AL West since about 2008 lol. For once a Houston fan gets to see what that feels like. He's a great GM for fans and media though because he makes a ton of trades which is exciting

Eagles27
Pretty risky deal. If Gordon can play a decent CF I think this works out pretty well. Still, probably would have been better off trading Torres for the 1 million and re-signing Dyson. Don't mind trading Niedert. Nice prospect, but upside seems somewhat limited and he doesn't have much projection left either. Torres is a lottery ticket, and I've never even heard of Dugger. Eagles27
@KhanYouDigIt terrible deal in hindsight, but I don't recall too many people thinking it was a bad deal at the time. Worst case scenario injury wise. Though Smyly and Simmons were both injury risks, so the end result is still on Dipoto.

Just bad timing on a dude who's arm blew up with his new velo.
chargerbuckeye
Jeter just sent Stanton a message. Accept the Giants or Cardinals or watch me gut the team around you and keep you around. Jeter is not bluffing with that move
