there are 9 teams averaging less than 17ppg through 4 games, which is the most since 2007

Is this a result of poor quarterback play? The 00s QBs are all retired now, and the "elite" QBs are playing incredibly inconsistently. On top of that it seems like more QBs than ever are just stop gaps while a team waits/hopes for someone better to come along. I can't remember a time where so many offenses were this unremarkable to watch.

Poor Oline play has to factor in. This is the worst I've seen Oline play league wide. But you are right. There are the haves and have nots right now in the QB space.

Sucks Colts couldn’t complete that comeback but you hardly win games spotting teams 20 points. However I’m impressed with how competitive they’ve been playing this year. 14th in PPG so far last year they were 30th. These next two division games are going to be huge in deciding their season.

Right now these are my projections:

AFCE:

Bills

Dolphins

Jets

Pats

AFCS:

Jags

Texans

Colts

Titans

AFCN:

Ravens

Bengals

Steelers

Browns

AFCW:

Chiefs

Chargers

Broncos

Raiders

AFC Playoffs:

Chiefs

Bills

Ravens

Jags

Dolphins

Chargers

Texans

NFCE:

Cowboys

Eagles

Commanders

Giants

NFCS:

Bucs

Saints

Falcons

Panthers

NFCN:

Lions

Packers

Vikings

Bears

NFCW:

Niners

Rams

Seahawks

Cards

NFC Playoffs:

Niners

Cowboys

Lions

Bucs

Eagles

Rams

Seahawks

Overview:

I have the Chiefs in the AFC and Niners in the NFC to both finish the #1 seed in their conferences. I have the Texans and Rams both getting into the playoffs thanks to their sensational rookie plays from Shroud and Puka. The NFCW gets three teams in and dont look now that division looks like the best division in the NFL right now from the Niners looking dominant, the Seahawks looking great, the Rams looking really good, and the Cards are playing extremely well despite their record. I have the Cowboys winning the NFCE bc of no team winning that division in back to back seasons in many years. Plus Dallas has actually looked better than the Eagles thus far despite the Eagles not having a loss. I was tempted to put the Lions above the Cowboys in the NFC playoff picture but I do think the Lions will slip up in a few games this season that we didnt see coming. Plus Id love to see the 1st round matchup Rams at Lions in the playoffs. The AFCN is hard to predict outside of the Ravens winning it. The Bengals can still finish 2nd despite their season being miserable due to mainly Burrow calf injury. I just cant trust the Steelers offense and the Browns offense enough to back them. Unless Burrow actually get shutdown which is possible I still like them a little more than the Steelers and Browns who are dealing with their own QB injuries right now. As well as the Texans are playing Im still saying the Jags will win the AFCS. But again I do think the Texans make the playoffs. I think the Chargers make the playoffs but to me they have to win a playoff game especially since they blew last season playoff game. And I have the Bucs winning the NFCS. I love the way Baker is playing.
