Broncofan
OK, this makes the Sashi Brown firing better...unless they make Dorsey keep Hue Jackson. Dorsey's a great draft GM but he'll owe all the success for 2019-2021 to the draft groundwork Sashi Brown made - 100M cap space, 1.1, HOU's 1st, 3 2nds and 3 3rds, and a roster full of young, cheap talent (but yes, QB 1st & foremost left to fill). God please for Browns fans let him have full control...including the decision to keep/fire Hue Jackson.
jrry32
I'm surprised Dorsey was willing to accept the job. He must have received contractual assurances that Haslam will stay out of the way.

Plus, with Dorsey coming on, I have to imagine this means the end of Hue Jackson (unless he's a big believer in Hue which would surprise me to say the least). He is one of the better proven options on the market so I imagine Haslem had to agree to plenty of things to get a guy like that on. Good for Cleveland though. Hopefully Dorsey steers them in the right direction.

Trentwannabe
Very nice hire. With all that draft capital used (potentially) correctly the Browns may finally turn the corner
SimsZilla
that was a rather quick hire
NVRamsFan
Should be a great move and help the Browns turn it around. A QB at 1, Safety with the 2nd pick in the 1st? RB and WR in the 2nd? About $80 million next year in cap space as well.
Livewire
They didn't waste time filling that position.
