Spartica4Real
Weirdly excited that Otani's in the AL West so I get to see him more often, he's such an exciting player and I can't wait to see what he becomes. Angels definitely have a pretty good shot at the WC.
Danger
1. Is he as good as advertised? 2. Is he a better hitter or pitcher?

Yes he's the best Japanese prospect in history 2. Pitcher, easily. He's a top-10 pitcher in the league right now having never thrown one.
kyle21121
I'm happy for Mike Trout. Whats he been in 1 playoff series? Angles need to do better by him.
hrubes20
They were my 2nd preferred destination for Ohtani. Really happy he didn’t end up with the other LA team.

This saga may just be getting started. Did you even read the article, or is your reading comprehension garbage?

animaltested
Even in the offseason, the Mariners continue to disappoint. At this point we are nothing more than a battered spouse, who still believes the other person can change... they just need more time (and a better farm system). Ehhh Yu Darvish wasn't the best prospectto come out of Japan tho. I'd say that honor goes to Matsuzaka or Matsui. Matsui was decent but both them failed to live up to the hype. Ohtani is younger and more versatile but I don't think he is the best prospect to come out... And to early to call him a top 10 pitcher after watching Dice K who in my opinion was the best Japanese prospect ever to come here and struggle

Ohtani is one, and there's a gap after him. Ichiro or Darvish is 2. Not close for anyone else tbh.

deltarich87
I'll forever remember Kaz Matsui as the guy who went on the DL because of anal fissures
NewAge
Ohtani is the greatest prospect since at least Bryce Harper. If not, A-Rod.
tom cody
He's going to be a good 1 but I doubt he does both in the MLB. I think he's either a full time pitcher or a full time hitter, he won't be both.
