Steelersfan43
Who do you think is the front runner right now? And who do you think will win the MVP this year?
Forge
Right now, I personally think Hill should get it tbh. By the end of the year, it'll probably be mahomes who gets it. Thought this could finally be Allen's year, but that doesn't look like it's happening
Mox
So far it's a weak year. Tyreek or CMC I guess.
AngusMcFife
It just depends on which of the top QBs has the most wins.

Yeah I would love to see a Tyreek or CMC win it & the other get OPOY, but MVP has become an award for the QBs. Mahomes, Lamar, Hurts
AFlaccoSeagulls
Lamar would be my front-runner right now. Tyreek #2, Myles Garrett #3, Mahomes #4. Edited October 23, 2023 by AFlaccoSeagulls
CP3MVP
The best player I have seen this year is Tyreek Hill

Yeah I was kinda thinking the same thing. Lamar is tearing it up and was a 1-man show in several games this year against good teams.
General Tso
Going into the week, I thought it was Tua's to lose. But now Lamar is in the driver's seat.
NeptunePenguins
Not the strongest season for QB play so far, at first I thought a non QB had a decent chance, but I feel by the end of the season one of the top QBs likely gets it. As of today I would put Lamar up as the front runner.

Jeezla
Lamar is on pace for 3910 passing yards and 19 passing TD's. I don't think he wins MPV no matter how good the rushing stats or his YPA/Completion % look. If you finish outside the top 10 in passing yards and passing TD's, you probably aren't winning MVP. Tyreek should be the easy front runner. He's on pace for 2190 receiving yards and 17 TD's. Even over 16 games, he's still on pace to be the first receiver to crack 2K. Lamar's value goes beyond the stats this year. He's been really let down by his receivers in multiple games. Dude was the highest graded player in the entire NFL 2 weeks ago and the Ravens scored 10 points because they had 8 dropped passes, including multiple touchdowns. He's definitely the front-runner for QB's right now.
TheKillerNacho
Lamar Jackson being in the MVP race has to be one of the bigger overreactions to a single week that I've seen this year, and that's saying a lot... not saying it couldn't happen, but it would require his performance against Detroit becoming the norm going forward.

He would've already had a Detroit performance against Pittsburgh if his WR's didn't forget how to football that day.
