You do realize that's partially due to ball placement right? Especially on those last two... There are very few receivers who could manage to get their feet down on those because Trevor led them to close to the back of the end zone with the throw.

And for the record I like Lawrence and expected him to ascend to the rank of the elite QBs this year but so far he hasn't done that.

Find me someone who dealt with 4 in one game.

Can't find a specific game where a QB overthrew 4 would-be TD passes, but I remember Lamar losing to the Steelers because his receivers were dropping passes left and right

Hate to burst your bubble there NFZ but 1 game vs the 49ers didn't make

Quote

It’s absurd to pretend like Dak is literally the worst QB in the league playing from behind because of one game this season

That stat/fact was accumulated over the last 9 gms. League MVP don't have stats like that, usually the opposite.

How many games have they been trailing in this season for any appreciable amount of time? The Niners game is the bulk of the stats. You’re essentially trying to define him off of one game where the entire team got punched in the mouth.. at a time where the offense was finding their identity under a new scheme and OC. As if we haven’t seen Dak put up good numbers playing from behind.. and then people just dismiss it as “garbage time stats”.

Again, using one game to essentially say he is among the league’s worst is ridiculous. You wouldn’t define Patrick Mahomes solely by how he played against the Jets this season, and you shouldn’t do so for how Dak played against the Niners, either.

It would be one thing if Dallas was in a position to play from behind for a reasonable sample size this year and Dak struggled to deliver.. but that very, very obviously has not been reflected in the season.

To act like Dak is a sub 60 passer rating QB if his team is behind is irrational.

Dude, don't waste your energy trying to rationalize anything Cowboys in this forum.  It's pointless.

I don’t understand. This is supposed to be a thread about the MVP race; why are we talking about Dak Prescott and Trevor Lawrence?

Does it not make sense to discuss candidates? Whether they be the current favorite or someone with the potential? As far as QBs go (and we all know QBs are heavily favored), Dak has absolutely been playing his way into that conversation.

We absolutely should be discussing candidates - hence my confusion.

Why do you keep saying 1 game vs SF? It's been 2 1/2 games.

Entire 49ers game

Entire AZ game

1/2 the Eagles game

In otherwords. When the Cowboys don't play with the lead, front run on 💩 teams 6x. Daks overall QB play suffers because of it.

Before you chime in about his gm vs the Eagles it can't be true, it's the same defense that has Washington Fans believing Sam Howell is actually the real deal. In the end all 3 gms resulted in loses.
