Who do you want to see as our next HC and GM?

This is why I'm against hiring AP. The rah rah culture guys that players love are great, until they are not. These guys loose their OCs and things unravel quickly for them if they can't identify the next one.

Not going to speculate why he got fired, this could have been mutual. He's going to get another HC job. He had a good 6 year run and will get another. If losing an OC makes you unravel quickly you might as well write off any defensive minded coach. Saying you don't want AP because Vrabel got fired (who had 2 division crowns, 3 playoff appearances in 6 years and an AFC champ appearance) I think you're just trying to fit a narrative. If anything this proves you need a QB.

In their defense, has any team dealt with more injuries than them? They are nicknamed the ChargIRs for a reasons.

That's where hitting on mid-late round picks with quality depth guys comes into play.

Don’t agree with Vrabel being just a rah rah guy. It was pretty clear this year and the end of last that team failed because of the front office. Robinson was awful and Carthon flubbed it up big in his first GM year for the team by trying to halfway do a rebuild. If anything for how poorly constructed that team was, Vrabel had them overachieving. That Titans roster is either bad or filing AARP paperwork.

To each their own. I've never been overly impressed with him or that style of play personally.

You're not wrong on the roster. But I think they are a lot like the Raiders in that they have some gritty leadership caliber players who mask some glaring weaknesses.

I think personally we have a far stronger roster at this point. That front office is so bad I’d be willing to give Vrabel a chance if we miss out on Harbaugh. I personally would put him under Harbaugh and Smith for my preferences but still would have him around my 4th or 5th most ideal in this cycle.

I have.

You need a QB and you need an offensive mind to develop him. The Titans will hire Bobby Slowik or someone out of the 49ers organization and be better for it.

Carthon was just hired this past year. Are you sure you're not thinking of Robinson, their previous GM?

Carthon is a 49ers guy who is about to build them in that image.

I saw on Twitter that Kelly has a legit shot at the Panthers job and the Giants would be interested in AP for their vacant DC role if we don't bring him back.

Nice. Collect those picks and hire some better people.

I’m referring to both. The Titans were in obvious need of a tear down and rebuild this year, yet Carthon instead of accumulating rebuild pieces decided to hold onto aging talent that is now going to be out of the door for nothing. It was a really poor way to go about handling the start of his regime and at the end of the day wasted a chance to recoup valuable picks to hold onto Henry, Tannehill, and trade Byard at lower value than he would have gotten had he just done it in the offseason. JRob was awful, but Carthon had a very poorly managed first year. Vrabel fell on the sword for both of their mistakes in my opinion.

Isn't Kellen Moore our leading candidate betting wise

That was at bookies.com last week and since then the line has been pulled. I’ve never heard of that book

Harbaugh across several prominent sportsbook went from +250/+200 this past weekend to laying -300 today. Significant steam and shift on odds
