I personally think that Harbaugh better upgrade his scheme for the NFL. NickButera
I mean, I aluded to this, but everyone thinks "Herbert" is the key cog in luring in coaches. But Harbough (both harboughs for this fact) have more of a love of physical lineman, a dominant physical D-Line, and the run game. Chargers defense is going to be gutted and they still won't have any cap space this year. Their O-line is meh outside of Slater, their center is good. and they were bottom 10 in rushing this year. I just don't think he sees the chargers as a can't miss landing spot. I think Harbough looks at them and thinks it's a huge project to get where he wants them to be.

Ravens aren’t running the same scheme. They fired Greg Roman last season for Todd Monken due to having a horrible passing attack and one dimensional running. Just means that public money is going there, which is probably because the talking heads keep saying how good a fit him and Herbert would be. I meant more like overarching philosophy how how to build a football team. And to be fair, if AP can keep our defense top 3, he has a REAL chance to be very successful with just a little luck on offense. Defense is the main staple of the Niners and Baltimore and they always maintain success.

The Titans were in obvious need of a tear down and rebuild this year, yet Carthon instead of accumulating rebuild pieces decided to hold onto aging talent that is now going to be out of the door for nothing. It was a really poor way to go about handling the start of his regime and at the end of the day wasted a chance to recoup valuable picks to hold onto Henry, Tannehill, and trade Byard at lower value than he would have gotten had he just done it in the offseason. JRob was awful, but Carthon had a very poorly managed first year. Vrabel fell on the sword for both of their mistakes in my opinion. Other way around. Carthon wanted to rebuild and unload assets. Vrabel pushed back and wanted to try and win signing guys like Hopkins and retaining older players. That is the reason for the breakup here. Never force a coach on a GM. It rarely works out is the lesson.

Carthon should have understood this better and negated him on it. Instead he blew a year away for hardly nothing and squandered value. It’s like the ordeal with Ziegler and McD. If Ziegler would have stepped in and saw what he leaked to the media through, he’d still be here. Not having a backbone like that as a GM is a red flag. If anything this worries me more about Carthon. Edited January 9 by FloydFan

Yes unfortunately they don’t put up the option that he’s going back to Michigan or that would impact the lines Public money doesn’t move lines that’s much especially when it gets to -200 territory. That’s when the books start placing it to lessen liability based on information receive

The Titans will hire Bobby Slowik or someone out of the 49ers organization and be better for it. Then say that, not rah rah coach. You keep minimizing the success AP had which is pretty lame, whether or not he's coach next year.

I honestly think it is California. Harbaugh only coached out of CA with Michigan lol
agarcia34
The coaches that are out there is making it extremely hard for AP. Might be the best time to hire a coach in a long time.

I have no idea why anyone would want to get paid in California with California’s state taxes. They are killing me right now. 😔
