DingoLadd
Compton Gameplan: Offense: This week we're going to come out with a pass heavy attack that aims to attack the weak Singapore secondary. Case Keenum is legitimately playing like one of the best Qbs right now and we're going to trust him with our great cast of receivers. Antonio Brown will be moved around often, but no DB on Singapore's squad can cover him. Singapore's D-line is very good, but we have a great O-line that we've invested a lot into and we're going to trust them to hold up in this one. All of our Rbs will see some action in this one. Marshawn Lynch and Alfred Morris will split a lot of the traditional RB touches whereas Dion Lewis and Tarik Cohen will be utilized more in the passing game. Defense: We're going to focus our defense around trusting our secondary against the Singapore receivers. Marshon Lattimore will lock down Keenan Allen and Casey Hayward will take Mohamed Sanu. With our corners likely winning their 1 on 1's, we have a lot of flexibility in our front 7. We will send some blitzes to create some extra pressure, but our edge rushers should also be successful against Singapore's poor tackles. KJ Wright will be a spy on LeVeon Bell/Kareem Hunt. With Singapore's poor offensive line and our good interior, we believe this will be enough to keep the Singapore running backs from taking over the game. SINGAPORE Week 14 Motivation Keep the win streak alive for the No 5 seed. Pummel a division opponent into dust. Offense (3 WR, 1 RB, 1 TE) 3 Wide w/Single Back - We’ll use our base offense this week and Big Ben will spread the ball around to all of our playmakers. Allen and Fitzgerald are on fire and peaking at the right time for a deep playoff run. Sanu Sr. is getting work done as well to move the chains. The receivers will have a tough battle this week against an excellent Compton secondary in Hayward and Lattimore. Offensive Front - Cordy Glenn is questionable at least this week. It would be nice to get one of our Tackles back in time for they playoffs. Should he not play Lane Taylor slides out to tackle again and Jonathan Cooper will fill in at LG. Our offense runs through Le’Veon Bell and he’ll get his touches this week in both the running game and passing game. Bell is actually 10th in receptions this year giving us 3 players in the top 10 with Fitzgerald (3rd) and Allen (5th). Defense (4-2-5) Nickel Base w/ High Safety - We’ll again stay with what has become our base defense. Griffen, Hunter, Donald and Joseph are the pinnacle of a DL in the BDL. A favorable matchup this week against a banged up Compton team should result in pressure on Case. Jaylon Smith gets the start this week with Thompson banged up. He’ll be paired with superstar Deion Jones, our do it all leader in the middle. They will look to contain Lynch, Morris and Cohen out of the backfield. And then there were three - Despite having the best WR in the league, Brown does need some sort of supporting cast. Waynes will cover Brown with help from Harmon over the top. Mills will cover Diggs leaving Dotson for King. We’ll also expect Compton to use Dion Lewis and Tarik Cohen in the passing game by necessity. They pressure our front four generates allows us to muddle the passing lanes and limit any big gains.
