I'm looking for improvement from Love, I don't expect to win this game, but he needs to show he can keep them in it.

His game against the Chargers was good, that needs to be the rule, not the exception.  Detroit is a much tougher defense and on a short week.  We'll see.

A LOT will depend on how our OL holds up.

Ugly for Detroit.  We are going to beat these guys just like we beat the Chargers.

Okay. I hope so...but will believe it when I see it.
Our OL will be severely tested....and our Secondary? Yikes.

I expect a W in this game. The Bears sort of exposed the Lions yesterday.

Lions turned it over 4 times versus Bears, and still won.  Not sure when the Packers last forced 4 turnovers?

7.5 point dogs.

Despite the early optimism here, I don’t see much to be optimistic about.

The KC game, we’ll have some things going for us (home game, 10 days rest, maybe getting some guys back).  A win in this one just seems remarkably unlikely based on the first game and the intangibles not in our favor. Perhaps we have improved, but not *that* much.

Hope I’m wrong…

Does DET move 97 around? I dont think so...but I'm uncertain. If not...it will be interesting to see how Zach holds up against him.
Not sure if Zach was the RT last time we played them....but 97 was a menace the entire game.

Lions dominated our OL in Green Bay.  Hopefully without home-field, our line will do a lot better?  Will be interesting how MLF play-calls this one.  Packers ran for 27 yards total in Green Bay.  My recall is poor, but it seemed a lot of the runs helped set up 1-2-3-punt possessions in the first half, such that love was constantly facing unfavorable 2nd and 3rd downs.  My recall is that in the 2nd half, when they were getting blown out, Packers threw more while trying to play catchup.  I imagine the passing game is going to need to work if the offense is going to compete this week.
