I think the team would have to show that they’ve completely quit on him, or else he’s back. I don’t see it happening. Just hire the right DC, MLF

Only chance I see of this happening is if Gute wanted Barry gone and MLF said no. Then if we don't the playoffs, he's culpable/responsible in Gute's eyes. I think MLF getting fired is an extreme long shot. It's the, 'in case of emergency pull this," type situation.
NFLGURU
Both Gute and MLF are here at least until Murphy retires in Jul 2025. The next coach will be hired by Murphys replacement with Gutes input if they decide to do anything.
Arthur Penske
Stokes out with a Hammy. Man going into the season CB was looking good. May be the #1 need this offseason now. I love the 3rd but would be nice to have rasul right about now https://x.com/mattschneidman/status/1741135696826356194?s=46&t=fptgYtQ-rJhbexsz_O7tFQ Edited December 30, 2023 by Arthur Penske

If Love keeps playing like this MLf isn’t going anywhere unless he keeps Barry. and Gutey sure as **** ain’t going anywhere with Love panning out and if his drafts keep panning out. that said, they need to fix the damn defense. Mazrimiv
Not having Stokes on the field for this game is probably a good thing.

He's not gonna keep Barry. Thats simply not happening. B). A new coach = a new offensive scheme (unless they make the mistake of moving somebody currently on staff up....which I doubt they'd do) - which would be a potential setback to Love's development. Packerraymond
It's time the team uses some of its billion dollar rainy day fund for some serious R&D work into soft tissue injuries. We have had so many promising careers derailed by them, if you're going to use RAS as a top criteria for draft prospects, you're going to be dealing with a lot of maxed out athletes that generate some serious torque when they play. Any sort of advantage they gain there could be a serious advantage over the rest of the league.

Hope we see some David Long out there. He can play. Not having Stokes will be a plus.

He's played in just over half of the possible games in his career, but only a ~third of them in the last 2 years. Seems a likely camp cut.

High hopes that we'd nabbed a player for back there have kind of been deflated.
