Yeah City can beat anyone.

Spurs aren't far off.

And Mourinho could bore his way to the semi.

Chelsea could turn it around like they did in the league last year.

Liverpool are terrible.

Have you seen what Liverpool have done to Maribor? Barca should be shivering in their boots.

City are amazing, one of the top favourites imo.

Spurs are good, not sure whether they're really at it in the CL knock-out stages though.

A Mourinho team is always good for a long cup campaign, Chelsea looks terrible though. They'll need a good draw to survive the next round.

Liverpool are really terrible right now. But Liverpool are also a team that looks significantly different with a fit Lallana and Mane and is exactly that kind of team that thrives in those kind of competitions/games.(only to loose 3-0 in Brighton afterwards)

  • Spurs win group H
  • Man City win group F
  • Beşiktaş qualify for the CL Round of 16 for the first time in their history
  • Monaco is eliminated from all European competitions
  • Dortmund fail to qualify for the CL Round of 16

Really surprising all around.

What wasn't was Liverpool's collapse.

Juve-Spurs

Basel-Man City

Porto-Liverpool

Sevilla-United

Madrid-PSG

Shakhtar-Roma

Chelsea-Barcelona

Besiktas-Bayern

Not even January and we're as good as trophy-less this season, so frustrating. PSG will advance 7-3 is my guess

Honestly feels like both Real Madrid fans and haters overreact and say this type of stuff every single season.

Even if that is the case, it is an objective fact that Real has looked worse thus far than at any time in recent memory. Though this past Saturday was certainly a hopeful step forward

Outside of Chelsea I think all the English sides should feel confident.

Although historically Chelsea have matched Barça before.

City, Liverpool and United should feel confident although Sevilla are such a confusing team. Chelsea and Spurs face a hard task of advancing.
