JustPlainNasty
Curious to hear everybody's thoughts on tonights game . How it will play out etc. Players that you are interested in watching as possible prospects for the Steelers etc I've been pretty impressed with Penix and the Washington offense in general. The WR's , Polk and McClellan are very intriguing despite not getting the same hype as Odunze. Dillon Johnson the RB runs pretty hard, I'm not sure if he had an injury issue from the last game. The media apparently thinks very highly of their Oline as well. I will say LT Troy Fautanau is one of my favorite prospects to watch. His feet and hands are exceptional. I was also very intrigued watching the Michigan offense / Penn State defense matchup. Penn State gave Michigan fits pretty much that whole game. Too bad PSUs QB wasnt ready to play anywhere near the level that he should be at that point. Penn State was beating that right tackle like a drum especially. I bring it up because I heard somebody use that game as a measuring stick and I didn't think their take was quite accurate. My main question is do you think Michigans defense can slow down and take the life out of Washingtons offense and how/why ? If everyone thinks Washington Oline is one of best in the country or the best what about Michigans defense is that impressive that they will choke that Washington O ?
warfelg
I'm really watching Polk, as he's a 2nd/3rd round target IMO for this offense. I think Michigan's DL will also be the best that Washington's OL will face all year long. I think this is a game that Kris Jenkins is going to re-establish himself as a player to watch in the draft. Michigan has a secondary full of guys who will me more NFL safety types because they play better in zone than man and can be beat over the top. Offensively Michigan has a few backs that will have careers in the NFL. Maybe not stud players but players none the less. I would imagine they are going to try to run the ball and control the clock, but if this becomes a track meet, it's all about one guy - JJ McCarthy. Either he's going to launch in the public eye or he's resigned to 5th round pick after this game. Roman Wilson - Welcome to the spotlight as the underrated player of this game.

I too have been intrigued by Polk. McMillan is a pretty strong and highly utilized #3 as well I've been intrigued with Bralen Trice. That guy has a non stop motor it seems. Could use a little bit of closing speed but he has harassed every single teams Qb he has faced. He is always right there but cant quite always seal the deal. Kind of reminds me of Woodley in college was always just about a step away on every down. Zion #4 and Edefuan #5 caught my eyes about 3 years ago. i think they've both had injury issues but they can play. I think #5 was a walk on as i recall seeing his story. Hampton #7 and Jackson #25 can compete.
JustPlainNasty
That Right Tackle 73 for Washington had an awful 4th quarter. A lot to go back and get from this game regarding prospects. Separate the lions from the lambs.
