We’d still have 3 seconds the next 2 years. Our offense is almost entirely set and signed. Our defense has youth. Bringing in a top 5 corner who’s 24 is completely worth it. MHJ is arguably a generational prospect, guaranteed top 5 pick/blue chip player. DeJean is a good prospect. Trading the 18th overall pick for AJ Brown instead of Burks, and trading the 5th overall pick instead of MHJ are two very different situations. Hurts is gonna top out at 25 passing TD's, even if he's throwing to prime Rice, Moss, and Megatron at WR, and Travis Kelce at TE. What we really need is a defense that will prevent the other team from scoring more than the 24-27 points Hurts is gonna get us. I think overall I'd lean AJ Brown, but if I have a veteran QB that's making a lot of money there is definitely a world where you take Odunze to try and get the cap to work out for other positions. The hope is that he's just good. I don't need him to be AJ Brown good, I just need him to be a net positive for the team. If he ends up Chris Olave/DK tier, I'm happy. ninjapirate
Doing first round mocks and the seahawks are always hard all their needs are for things you'd never draft at 16.

You don't trade up for a CB unless they are at least Devon Witherspoon tier prospects, and I don't think Quinyon/Terrion/DeJean/Wiggins are Witherspoon tier. That being said, our CB outlook a year from now (or today even) is pretty damn gloomy, and this draft is pretty weak outside of OL and WR prospects, so this is the year to trade up for a CB if you really like one. The highest I would go is whatever we can get for 22 + 53. Sucks that even if we take DeJean/Terrion/etc, and they actually hit, we'll still need another CB next year to replace Slay. Hopefully next year FA CB class is better than this year. Edited April 14 by Jeezla
