hornbybrown
The season obviously ended on a really sour note and had you told me at the start of the season that we would go out in the wildcard that would of been below my expectations. Having said that i grade to overall performance of the Franchise as a B+ 16 players on IR including 10 starters and five starting QB’s no team has made the playoffs under those circumstances. Not an excuse for today because we simply got out coached and out played today. But under the circumstances of the season we shouldn’t of even been there. A lot of positives. In JOK we have the best young LB in the game, the emergence of Chief and Emerson along with DeWand Jones was great. The defense other than today has been elite. Lots of Questions going into next season but we have a good base to start from
BetterCallSaul
Failure. Next year is the last year of our window to win anything real. And we will have the same talent, IF we’re lucky.

candyman93
1. Upgrade skill position talent 2. Upgrade pass rush - Absolutely non existent at times this year. I like Alex Wright long term as a 3rd pass rusher. We need an actual legit #2 guy. Somebody who can get us 10+ sacks a year.
Thomas5737
We have a very good regular season. We struggled in the playoff game but man Stroud is scary. Newsome was burnt but Stroud didn't miss (often). What is our cap carry over for 24? We're currently -12 million with 45 players under contract. 186 million dedicated to offense, 82 on defense. DawgX
This loss obviously taints the season we had, but we still had a good year. Anyone on this forum would have been elated to win 11 games and make the playoffs even if we were healthy, let alone with the injuries we've dealt with. With that said, next year let's hope for... - Less injuries. Injuries are gonna happen but we got decimated by them. - Add a WR and/or TE. Cooper and Njoku are great. I like Tillman's potential, Moore was meh. But we could use one more dude in the passing game. - Add a RB depending on what happens with Chubb. Even if Chubb comes back, I doubt he'll be the same and he may end up being a cap causality at some point, as much as it sucks to think about. Ford is a nice RB to have, but he's not a feature back... at least not yet. - Extend JOK. Dude is a beast and there's been multiple games where our defense wasn't at their best but he still showed up. - Z. Smith is likely gone, so it'll be interesting if the front office wants to add another starter to replace him or if they're comfortable with Alex Wright taking his spot. Either way we'll need more depth. - And, probably most importantly, Watson needs to stay healthy and prove the games vs. Tennessee and Baltimore were a sign of things to come. It’s beyond my understanding but this guy is a go to for that stuff
Navy
It probably won't happen, but need to replace Wills - #1 priority - His play this year cost us both of our starting tackles.... Stop playing and his man whipped Conklin, losing him for the year Addition by subtraction Edited January 14 by Navy
Navy
Overall - It was a very exciting year Tons of injuries, which we found ways to overcome Most disappointing was the preperation for this game - The biggest game of the year - An absolute dumpster fire Love my Browns - Always will Our future??? Needs to be a 180 from today Edited January 14 by Navy
DrewPaul
I don't blame Flacco entirely for the loss. He put them ahead and the defense was supposed to stop them. Or at least make it hard. I don't get the disparity between the defense on the road and at home. The crowd doesn't scream when the offense has the ball. Anyway Flacco can go back to the couch. I hope he stays in shape just in case.
dawgdish
Tonight we were playing on house money as far as I'm concerned. With the ridiculous hands we were dealt with on the injury front, we exceeded expectations of any Browns team since our return in 1999. Tonights feces contaminated bed aside, it feels like the culture/vibe of the organization has legitimately turned for the better (finally).

Cooper will have to restructure. It's a waiting game for now.

Yeah I have started the process of mentally preparing myself for Chubb being cut. It’s something that without the injury I don’t think was on the cards. But since the injury it’s a very real possibility

Tonights feces contaminated bed aside, it feels like the culture/vibe of the organization has legitimately turned for the better (finally). I agree with this. While we might be able to work around the constraints of the salary cap, I think that it is an absolute MUST that our "morally casual" QB get back to an elite level. Can he do that? He started playing rather well before he dinged up his shoulder. We, unfortunately are hitched to that wagon (cinder block) of a contract, and we're getting ready to ford one of those deep rivers during a game of "The Oregon Trail". I'm just hoping that A.B. can "caulk" the raft enough to get us across and on to the next season, with as good a club as he can assemble. I won't pretend to be any sort of expert on how the offseason will shake out. After all, I'm just one of those "boomers" who come in here to vent. Right, @DawgX 😉 But we definitely need to upgrade the tackle position. Can we restructure Cooper's contract? I hope so, but I was pleased by what we saw from Tillman and Bell late in the season. Can they replace Cooper if he is moved? Doubtful, but they are light years ahead of the former Brown Anthony "no mas" Schwartz. Here's who we play next year. On paper, a much tougher schedule than we faced this year. Cleveland Browns Home: Steelers, Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs, Chargers, Cowboys, Giants, Dolphins Away: Steelers, Bengals, Ravens, Commanders, Broncos, Raiders, Eagles, Jaguars, Saints I'm disappointed with the way the season ended, but I agree with @dawgdish.....we were playing with house money. I'm officially on the A.B.B. train. What the hell....The Wolverines won the NCAA Championship. Why not the Lions? BetterCallSaul
So we all agree that James Hudson sucks balls? I haven’t seen a guy get demolished like that maybe since Winston Justice gave up like 6? sacks in 1 game. He is pathetic and needs to be shot into the sun with Joe Woods. I hate him.
