Manny/Patrick
Obviously a QB has his coach and QB coach, but do you think they ever ask for help from a franchise legend? For Example, Daniel Jones has played bad, do you think he reached out to Eli to ask about his mechanics or if there is something that can make him better. Mason Rudolph/Pickett can ask Big Ben and Terry Bradshaw Tua could go to Dan Marino Dak could speak with Aikman and Staunbach Love can speak with Favre or do you think there egos are so high they don’t ask anyone
nagahide13
Carson Palmer's brother Jordan works with a bunch of NFL qbs. Historically he's worked with Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, LeShaun Watterson etc.

Trojan
I think Tua meets fairly regularly with Dan Marino as he's an advisor in official capacity to the Dolphins. Like his job isn't QB advisor, but to the team's executives. I'm sure they talk though.
PossibleCabbage
Jordan Love has been working with the same private QB coach (Steve Calhoun) since 8th Grade. So I think a lot of guys are going to default to taking to someone they have a personal relationship with instead of reaching out to someone famous. It's not as though the guys who were the best at football are necessarily the people who understand the nuances of the game the best, some of those guys just had things come naturally to them in a way that other people had to work at. Like Graham Harrell is almost certainly a better coach than either Favre or Rodgers.
Daniel
Peyton Manning always keeps a line on UT’s starting QBs and gives them advice. There have been many times that those little sideline phones that you see QBs on have Manning on the other end.
warfelg
The better question is how many of those team legends care to do that?

I mean, some of these guys (most in fact) played in completely different leagues. I'm not sure how applicable it is. Is Mason Rudolph legit going to ask for advice on how to navigate todays game from a guy who played 50 years ago? Also, how interested are these older guys in actually having anything to say? I know its not the same now that he's not playing, but saying Rudolph can ask ben for help when Ben basically came out and said when they drafted him, "its not my job to mentor him" is kind of funny nonetheless. I could see them asking for opinion on how to deal with NFL adjacent stuff. How to deal with the pressure, or friends / family when you have money, etc. But being a great player certainly doesn't make you a great coach or anything.

OT but a month ago Ben is trying to claim now he offered to help Mason but Mason refused. I really liked Ben as our QB but god, I’m so glad to be done with the Drama Queen headlines.
