Noah Brown done for the year

This really burns for the rest of the playoffs. It was a hard road ahead, but this only complicates it.

As far as the business side of the situation - going to IR this late in a contract year? That doesn't bode well for Brown. He's going to have to prove he's healthy before anyone even calls him for a workout.

Very bad timing for the guy. Hopefully he can be retained on another one year deal, but any sort of idea on keeping him on a multi year deal has to be off the board, IMO.

I dont think he will be a Texan. He will likely want a multi year deal if he can get it and if I'm not mistaken, he is the only FA WR on the roster. He will be the one they look to upgrade via free agency or draft with his open spot. Nico, Tank, Woods, Metchie, X,  rookie or free agent.

Me also thinks CJ made him look better than he was.

I do agree with a good portion of this - he's expendable, and can probably be upgraded this off-season (and not just by the big names - there are probably 2-3 guys we've either never heard of or guys who will be cut from their multi-year deals who never lived up to their expectations; I'm thinking a guy like MVS, Mike Williams or Tyler Lockett is probably on the outs).

This being said - if Brown's representation thinks he can lock a multi year deal on the strength of a few blow up games followed by weeks of inactivity due to injury, he's got to find better representation. It seemed like Brown missed more games than he actually played this season.

I think Brown has to see if there's another one year deal to be had - signing him on the merits of 10 games where he was active is a really scary proposition.
