General Tso
(Only image I could find). Bobby Slowik should be a HC if not next year then at least the year after. Feels like these (5) guys are going to run the league for the foreseeable future, but some of the old guard will still oppose them (Reid, Harbaugh, wherever Belichick goes). iknowcool
Man... that's nuts. I thought the list was impressive enough when it was just Shanahan, LaFleur, and McVay who were relevant. The fact they had Slowik (albeit on the defensive side) and McDaniel too? Raheem Morris was the DB coach for that team too. He'll be a HC again sooner or later. They talk about how they all made each other better. Specially Sean, Kyle and Matt. Would be sick to spend time growing with those frat bros. Just avid football lovers. Gotta respect that Washington didn’t block any of them from growing their wings.. Besides Mike he blocked one person.. Gotta feel bad for Washington though. That talent is like what the Browns had in BB. You ask yourself why not us? You see these guys 24-7 how or why couldn’t you keep them in the building? McVay and Shanahan also have: KOC and Taylor Saleh and Ryans Literally 25% of the league right now. Was slightly higher before Staley got fired. Guessing Mike LaFleur will be a HC after next season and have to imagine Shanahan's offensive guys keep getting poached too.
HTTRDynasty
The funniest thing to me every time they show this graphic is remembering some of the quotes in this La Canfora article from 2013 where he implies how incompetent and undeserving of their positions this young staff was: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/kyle-shanahan-staff-inexperience-at-core-of-redskins-dysfunction/amp/ Kyle Shanahan, staff inexperience at core of Redskins dysfunction “Several members of the organization said Kyle Shanahan was a cause of internal strife, surrounding himself with young coaches with inferior experience, and allowing for no checks and balances of outside voices in the offensive coaching rooms.” ”“This is the NFL, it’s not supposed to be a training ground for coaches,” said someone who has worked with Kyle Shanahan in Washington. “It’s ridiculous. Look at this staff. It sucks. Mike’s best buddy is (longtime Shanahan assistant and current linebackers coach Bob Slowik), and Slowik’s son is in his second year out of college and he’s on the staff. Everyone on the staff is in his first or second year except for Mike and Kyle and Haslett (defensive coordinator Jim Haslett) and Raheem (Morris, the secondary coach), and everyone knows Raheem is there because he is close with Kyle. Those two go way back.” ”“Kyle’s not that confident, so they set him up with a bunch of yes men rather than have some experienced coaches to push him. It’s like Kyle is the pied piper and these kids just follow him around. I mean, Mike has been a head coach for 20 years -- usually a guy like that has a posse he can bring with him. So he’s got Bobby Turner (running backs coach) here, and Slowik, and that’s it. How does that happen? How does he end up hiring all of his son’s buddies?” “Quarterbacks coach Matt LaFleur worked with Kyle Shanahan in Houston and had only two years experience as an “offensive assistant” with the Texans prior to becoming the Redskins QB coach. Similarly, receivers coach Mike McDaniel was a lower-level assistant on the Texans staff before coming to Washington. Tight ends coach Sean McVay’s only prior NFL experience to joining Washington came in 2008 as an offensive assistant in Tampa. “McVay is really the only one of those kids qualified to do what he’s doing,” said one member of the organization.” https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/kyle-shanahan-staff-inexperience-at-core-of-redskins-dysfunction/amp/
e16bball
11 minutes ago, HTTRDynasty said: Most of the offensive staff had less than two years of NFL experience before coming to Washington and even in those cases the two years weren’t as actual position coaches, but as offensive assistants and low-level help. JLC and members of the SnyderSkins organization taking potshots at Kyle Shanahan, Matt LaFleur, Mike McDaniel, and (kinda) Sean McVay all in one paragraph. A bunch of losers sitting around griping about the future braintrust of the entire league. And don’t get me wrong, Kyle Shanahan WAS a whiny, spoiled brat with the Redskins. He still kind of is, although I think his time alone in the football wilderness after things totally collapsed with daddy in DC probably was at least somewhat humbling for him. And the article’s point is at least somewhat well-taken, as that team WAS completely dysfunctional and DID absolutely suck, even with all those coaches. But sweet Jesus…can you imagine having written that article (or having made those anonymous comments) and looking back on it now? Knowing that in one single quote, you tried to sling mud at probably 4 of the top 10ish football coaches in the world at the moment?

lavar703
Now imagine being a fan of the team and seeing this graphic every single time your team plays or one of these coaches teams play lol. Also, we had Trent Baalke and John Schneider in the building at one point.
