I don't want to get into it here, but I'm sure if you're really curious, going through the results of Googling his name or simply perusing his Wikipedia page will likely yield you that in which I'm referencing.

In short, he's a racist scumbag.

Not a fan of a defender diving straight at a guys knees for a tackle. I get that they can't go high but to dive straight at the knees just isn't acceptable*.

Long-term, one of these two will be worse than the other. No one wants the knee injuries, but the bolded/underlined language undermines the severe ramifications from headshots (or "high" hits).

* What Kerby Joseph did was, in fact, acceptable. If you want to propose a better alternative to the current rules, go ahead.

There isn't one. Currently the rules let players go low, or hit center of mass. And hitting a player center of mass is not an option for a little guy who's going to eat the full brunt that momentum transfer. No amount of fiddling with the rulebook is going to change the physics imolved; little guys either go low or get run over, and that's how it's always been.

I don't often take satisfaction in a player getting hurt, but sometimes such a happenstance is just too delightfully karmic for me to resist smirking, at least.

I had no idea. I don't really feel bad anymore. I hope that guy Nawaf Alsaleh doesn't have permanent damage.

You'd probably feel that way about a lot of NFL players then lol

Being happy that a player gets hurt because of a mistake they made in their past eight years ago seems a little low to me.

Almost any response I can think of is going to lead this thread towards conversation that will get this thread locked... So I'll just say that I think this is a really bad take. Calling his actions a mistake is technically correct but sounds very wrong.

I would like to also mention that aiming center mass often results in a flag as well because WR's just duck their head into the hit and get a free 15 yards for it.

Going low at the knees is probably the best decision defenders can make.

You literally started the thread that you are smirking about the injury. I'm sure you really didn't want to get into it lol. But hey, let's keep it to football!
