notthatbluestuff
It's a group of potential rematches, which I don't tend to like that much personally. 1) Ravens - Lions It's a rematch of week 7, true, but it's still about as refreshing a Super Bowl matchup as we'll get. 2) Chiefs - Lions Another rematch, this time of week 1. Maybe a nice way to bookend the season, ending as it began. 3) Ravens - 49ers The two best teams remaining, arguably. They did just play a few weeks ago, though - and it wasn't pretty. Yes, it's also a "rematch" of SB 47 but the two teams are completely different (sans Harbaugh) so that doesn't really matter at this point. 4) Chiefs - 49ers A rematch of SB 54 which feels like it took place a few months ago, to me. Many of the same players and coaches involved as back then. Eh, hopefully this won't be the one (which in other words means it totally will be). Tugboat
San Francisco and someone. I guess i'll go with KC even though i hate the predictability and repetitiveness of it...simply because Taylor Swift. Nothing about the Ravens really interests me much. As long as Deebo is healthy. If Deebo isn't healthy, i'd rather watch Detroit. Come to think of it though...Detroit vs Tay Tay Team could be really satisfying to watch. I'd be okay with that too. Soggust
KC SF - I kinda don't want this to happen because I'm really overinvested in talking trash about Purdy and I would have to decide between team loyalty and my ego of being right (sorry Chiefs). But even though I like Lions more than 49ers, if Purdy loses in NFCCG I'm going to have to delete a few accounts across different sites and ignore my homies for a while. KC DET - Ego aside, this is what I want the most. Detroit deserves a SB appearance. This would make us even more villains than we already are (if possible), but what can you do. BAL SF - Would be cheering for Purdy to not only win a SB, but my cousin also lives in Fells Point, so I probably will be analyzing the all-22 to find some missed holding calls to blame when the Chiefs lose by 3 TDs, so I will probably be a little bitter at the Ravens during this game. BAL DET - I really wouldn't hate this if the Chiefs weren't involved, just need the other matchups sorry. 43M
At this point, I just want the Lions to make it and win it. Do I think that will happen? No...but if my team isnt involved, I usually root for the underdogs, and they would be underdogs regardless of which AFC team they went up against. If Im looking for the straight up best game....its obviously Baltimore vs San Fran...no contest. Just please keep the Chiefs out. Nothing against them as a team....but Id probably end up not watching after the millionth time they mentioned or showed that overrated corkboard.

INbengalfan
Detroit- KC. Tell Usher to stay home until the SB next year and instead have a halftime battle of Eminem v Taylor swift Seriously, I wanna see detroit win since the others all have, but I don't want either AFC team winning. I don't hate the Niners like I used to in my teens and 20s (Super Bowl losses in very close games), so if Detroit can't win it all, I can live with the 49ers.

stl4life07
Chiefs v Lions I was wondering why the Lions were the team to face the Chiefs to open the season? I get the Lions finished last season hot and were the darlings of this season but still there were other more great options to face the Chiefs. The Lions won and people point to a banged up Kelce and no Jones. So in a rematch the Chiefs would have all of their main guys with a more experienced Rice at receiver than he was Week 1. The Lions will be way better and should get Gibbs more run than he did Week 1 too. Plus it would be the Taylor Swift v Eminem bowl. Lets have them square off in a Verzuz battle the week of the Superbowl to really get the hype going in Vegas. That would be fun. Swifties v Stans would go crazy lol. And of course you will have Mahomes v Goff in which Goff is 2-0 against Mahomes. A guy people still disrespect v a guy everyone loves. If Goff can beat Mahomes again but this time on the biggest stage then anyone who still disrespects Goff will have to come to terms that he is a top 10 QB no matter what johnny come lately comes into the league.
