Broncofan
He had a really uneven year in LAC - but the total lack of talent on O outside of Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen (OMG did Ekeler ever look washed), hard to tell if that was on him. Certainly more about the lack of talent GM Telesco brought in IMO, but we've beaten that topic to death. In theory Moore's commitment to both the run game and vertical pass game would fit well with what PHI is looking for. Even more important would be having someone who could adapt to what D's were doing - Siriani & Brian Johnson literally had no answers. You'd think Moore is an upgrade for that reason alone. nagahide13
I thought Kellen Moore was going to bring Herbert into MVP form. I like this on paper but will refrain from forming an opinion for now.
Football_Bachelor08
At the very least, Philly's offense should be less predictable next season.
El Ramster
So he’s just gonna be running madden routes. Should fit excellent with Jalen’s processing mind.. This I like…

Will we keep some things that works, sure. Sounded like new OC, his new offense. Guess we'll see next year. 🤷♂️ https://www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/eagles-hiring-former-cowboys-assistant-kellen-moore-as-offensive-coordinator/561643/ "We're bringing in a guy to bring in new ideas, to do the things that he's done in the past,” he said Wednesday. “It'd be crazy not to add some of the things that we've done in the past here, as well. … “We're working on getting the best guy in here for the job and a guy who has a vision, a guy who's going to call the plays, a guy who's going to be able to coach a quarterback. … So it's just about getting the right guy and then we'll decide where that goes. But I'm hiring him to do a job and to be in charge of the offense Edited January 28 by Nabbs4u
Soko
While it’s an obvious upgrade, this feels like one of those moves that flames out midseason. Moore strikes me as a “never enough” type guy. Edited January 28 by Soko

Moore strikes me as a “never enough” type guy. I was never a fan personally because Cowboy fans would complain he got to pass wacky at times, wouldn't pound the rock when clearly needed. That worries me. However this stat alone should make the offense different in 2024 and hopefully less predictable? 🤞 Quote Shift/Motion is just one part of pre-snap looks but fun to note... Eagles were 32nd in motion rate in 2023 (32%) Chargers were 6th (68%) Cowboys were 15th in 2022 (54.6%)

El Ramster
It’s also concerning that Herbert and the whole chargers offense regressed. Eckler had his worst season ever and Herbert didn’t play to his potential. Not to mention that Dak had a superior season without Kellen either. Hurt his knee 8/31, Finger 10/1, then broke his finger 12/10 finally missng actual games (4)? I'm sure that and Keenan Allen being his only viable WR option really played some kind of factor? I do believe Mike simplifying the offense, and basically making it 3-5 step quick throws/slants helped Dak in 2023. However let's not pretend under Moore Dallas/Dak were not top 5 in offense the previous 2 seasons as well. 22' - 4th 21' - 1st Edited January 28 by Nabbs4u

I said the Cowboys offense would blast off without Moore and the Charger offense would suffer. His scheme is super vanilla and his play-calling is super vanilla. Why he ever became an internet darling, I have no idea.

Look a couple posts above, I'm not a fan of Moore's. You should worry about your Raiders instead of throwing rocks from a glass house, "Lmfao".
