It would be bad to lose Sunday but you can only win SB's if you make it there (obviously)

Shanny has made 3/8 SB's since the 2016 season's as a OC/HC. Looking at HC's or OC/DC's, since that time period only Reid has made it more times (4). Belichek tied him with 3 and his last appearance was the 2018 season. Maybe i missed someone but i think that's it.

Win or lose at the end of the day Shanny is still a top 3 HC & still has as much job security as any HC in the NFL would have at the moment.

If Shanny keeps this up it'll happen eventually. Hopefully as soon as this Sunday

Barrows said in The Athletic that the practice field was so bad that SF considered doing the Monday media day & flying back to Santa Clara to hold a normal week of practice

I guess its OK now but really NFL? Huge competitive disadvantage

The line opened at SF -1.5. It has since moved to SF -2.5, even though 85% of the public are on KC

the entire football world outside of Nor Cal is picking the Chiefs to win... except the sportsbooks....

Fascinating.

seems like it's going to be a game of whoever can stop the run the best wins.

49ers need to leverage their weapons advantage vs the chiefs and crack that defense.

Mahomes only has Rice and Kelce....

we have to win this thing.

We will see what happens later in the week. If 80% + of the money is still on KC, the line should move but the books may just be waiting until later in the week to push that through.

It would be very weird for the books to make a stand and have that kind of exposure to one side.

I have a feeling even if the books lower the Niners number or even make it a pick or the Niners an underdog I don't think most betters will side with the Niners as everyone has been on the Chiefs to win the SB once they beat the Ravens and the NFC title game hadn't yet kicked off.

I don't blame the betters for taking the Chiefs b/c taking Mahomes on plus money is usually a sure thing.

I remember last year the Chiefs were a 3 point dog and it was like a 50/50 game.

chiefs guard Thuney (pectoral) is unlikely to be available for the Super Bowl on Sunday, Kevin Patra of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Time for our elite D-line to get shut down by backup guards again

I'm starting to think the 49ers defense is gonna respond and have a good game. they have to.

They've been taking a lot heat and been getting absolutely killed by the fans and the media for almost 2 weeks now. this is a proud bunch. you know they're pissed off hearing it by now.

I'm telling you, this may be just what the doctor ordered.

Here's the predictions coming from ESPN's website & tv personalities that was posted on the ESPN website.

"Of the 64 experts who weighed in, the Chiefs were favored by 49 of them (76.6%), while the 49ers claimed 15 votes (23.4%)".

On the CBS website it was a clean sweep for the Chiefs lol!

Like I said it's the Niners vs America!

I fully expect the NFL Network folks to be all over the Chiefs as well and I bet Cynthia Freelund goes against her model again and takes the Chiefs even though her model almost always sides with the moneyline favorite.

On ESPN Countdown I can 100% predict that Samantha Ponder will take the Chiefs lol!
