That would be the year they lose.

Let’s be realistic here. They don’t win that Super Bowl without plays made by Jones and Sneed.

The defense had more clutch moments in that win than the offense.

And every single year we see powerhouse teams with great receivers suddenly run into a brick wall when they play a great defense.

Evans doesn’t equal Jones and Snead

Evans would be around 20

Jones around 25

Snead around 15

say they bring back Sneed and pay Evans the money Jones would get and draft Sweat or a Jenkins

or they resign both and draft a WR.. what’s better?

say they draft a DT or WR in 2nd, maybe trade up…

Sneed, Evans, Kris Jenkins, 5 mil

or

Sneed, Jones, Xavier Legette

member Kelce  is getting old??

and KC has won 2 Super Bowls outscoring people too, when D wasn’t elite.

right. In both cases you are. Giving up one to gain another.

Yes, I understand that having that 3rd possession would be an advantage. It’s just not as strong as the one given up.

giving KC the immediate, guaranteed advantage is not smart.

How much stronger of an advantage? Quantify it.

Clears throat....  DVOA account for that.  (sorry, I couldn't resist)
