rlon
At some point later in this draft, the Steelers are likely to grab a player with upside that is under the radar. Who is your sleeper in this upcoming draft? The 5 tech from Iowa, a CB from Florida state, a QB that reminds you of a poisonous snake from arid lands? Who, as you look at players and film, is someone you think the Steelers can strike gold with late? Edited February 11 by rlon
armsteeld
Steele Chambers. He reminds me so much of Kwan Alexander. He can move really well and has no issues taking on blocks. He's probably around 230 but I think Steele has tremendous upside. OT Anthony Belton needs to fix a couple issues in his pass pro game and he will be special. Not too many big guys (6'7 360) have that subtle quickness. With the right coach, he can be special. Those aretwo but there's plenty more in my opinion.
mwalker
Great question. CB Shon Stephens, J.Porter Jrs cousin, is a pretty interesting kid. Freak talent with what appears to be a series of unfortunate scenarios, that just kept him from shining in the spotlight. M.WIley the RB from Arizona is a complete player. Not the most electric numbers but solid and he can just really play some football. Good pass blocker too. The fromer ILB for OSU, who finished his collegiate career at Toledo, Dallas Gent, maybe? He was a very highly ranked recruit who just was stuck behind folks at OSU. K.Boyd, N.Iowa is turning heads and making noise. Big fella. Not a 'sleeper' maybe but UM OG Z.Zinter will get drafted lower than he should, because of injuries. R.Davis the RB from, Kentucky, I think, is a player.

Edit : My bad im confusing Carson Steele from UCLA , who is actually kind of interesting as he has some quicks. Looks a bit like Polamalu running out there. Funny: Steele Chambers also reminds of Polamalu in how he runs around but more so in how he tackles..which kind of concerns me from first look as he tackles more like a safety than a Linebacker. He doesn't appear to be bringing a lot of umphh. Really haven't watched any tape just highlights so not really a fair or complete eval. Steele was a RB but converted to LB. I like his upside. Yes he is reckless with his tackling but hopefully he can get that fixed.

Right?
Steeler Hitman
Jawhar Jordan RB Louisville 5'10 185 A sleeper who can be effective as a KOR, RB3, has some zip and scat. Good fit for what the Steelers need and draft value would be good as late round draft pick. Runs like a 200+ RB. I drafted him in my 1.0 mock. A replacement for what the Steelers have been wanting from Dri Archer and Anthony McFarland. Hopefully, with better results. Curious to see what his strength, speed and how agile his footwork is. Also has special teams value in return.

He's the typical space player whereas Mark Robinson is solid in the box.

Very similar, but even bigger, yet still explosive. 😉 Honestly, this is the first time in a few years that I've had the time to dive in and enjoy scouting again. It is fun. I missed it. I wish I could have gotten a true jump-start during the college season to track some players and things as well.
rlon
I don’t know that he’s a sleeper, but no one here seems big on the guy. Will opinions change when James Williams, at 230 lbs., runs a forty well under 4.5? Off ball linebacker…strong safety…can run with tight ends. There is a bit of a freak in him waiting to come out…
3rivers
do you expect Khan to trade down once possibly twice to get more players from this draft?

Im on computer about 9 hours a day for work, so I don't have as much desire to be focusing in. I've just worked on QBs and started stepping into the water on the top centers more. You just notice things here and there or hear things then take a peak.
