Way too early 2025 talk/2025 Blue Chips

Think it's fair to start this thread now since the 2024 declaration window has come and gone.

Who are the likely lock top 10 guys at this point?

Additionally, all signs point to it being a weak QB Class. Ewers seems to be leading the pack, with names like Shedeur Sanders, Jalen Milroe, and Carson Beck in the conversation. However none of them really stand out to me as like oh yeah they'll be picked early on for sure.

Drew Allar #1 pick.

No. LOL

Saying this as a Penn State fan, I hope you're trolling right now. Don't know if it's him, or the Penn State coaches just suck (both could be true), but he ain't living up to his potential what so ever right now. It's like Hackenberg all over again but without the good freshman year. If he can improve in a big way this year then perhaps. Like sure his numbers look good, but he's not really making big time throws IMO, not showing any sort of situational clutchness at all.

Will Harold Perkins be the number one pick next year?

Perkins is a stud also but he is such a hybrid player and his frame doesn’t look like he can pack on much more imo. A creative DC could really utilize that skill set.

Kinda like Chaisson was right?

Different players… Harold is much more fluid and has better change of direction but Chaisson was probably stronger and more powerful for sure. Perkins to me is a lot like JOK but with better pass rush skills.

Didn't realize Perkins was listed at like 6 foot 1 220.

Can't think of any Edge with that size except Yassir Abdullah.

Yeah he’s not going to be a guy that can be used primarily at edge like Parsons. He is going to require heavy differentiation in his usage. He is for sure a defensive weapon but creativity will be key in playing him to his strengths.
