Championshiporbust
If Mike Shanahan knew that working for the insufferable Dan Snyder would be a damaging effect on his resume and legacy, which coaching opportunity in 2010 would you have taken that would have given you a third Super Bowl? scar988
There were only 3 openings, Buffalo, Seattle and Washington. Sooo. He didn't have that great of choices. But Seattle would have been my choice that year. Or he could have just waited a year and decided to go to San Francisco.
Trojan
uh... wasn't there like no HC changes that year basically? Mike Shanahan, Pete Carroll and Chan Gailey only hires? Pete Carroll won a SB so I doubt Seattle wants to change. So Washington or the 2010 Bills? Bills had Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brian Brohm and Trent Edwards and picking 9th (WAS 4th in a class with Bradford, Suh, McCoy and Trent Williams). Hmmm. I vote stays in WAS or retires? e16bball
Probably would have gone with New England.
game3525
Honestly, he would have been better off sitting out a couple years and taking the Colts job in 2012.

Kyle would have done well with Andrew Luck as OC.....
Trojan
What about if he got the Raiders or Bills job he interviewed for in 2015. Raiders at the time had Khalil Mack and Derek Carr and picking 4th in the draft and the Bills didn't have a pick (traded up for Sammy Watkins the year before). I think if he got the job over Jack Del Rio he could have had success with the Raiders personally. He also interviewed for the 49ers job post Harbaugh, and I think that would have been best then Kyle takes over when he retires in a couple years and the timeline fixes back to where we are now.

Mike would have stopped Kaepernick in his tracks, he would have gotten rid of Kaepernick in the 2015-16 offseason....
Championshiporbust
Mike also was supposed to be Coach Seifert's successor in 1997-98, if he stayed in SF, Elway and Sharpe probably don't win those Super Bowls in Denver.
El Ramster
There’s no modern nfl without him taking that job. All these coaches would be scattered or not coaching. He died for this. And I thank him and owe him. Broncos country let’s ride
