sammymvpknight
Go with the Jags. Even when they lose...they pulverize the opponent. They play the game the way God intended.

FalconFan13
I'll say the Falcons are a welcome destination for you as it seems lately we are getting quite a few players that were ex browns and they have done well for us. We are a top 10 team on defense and offense and play an exciting style of football in general.

Like it's so hard for you to be Pats fan. Before the turn of the century, some of us Patriots fans put up with a lot over the course of our time rooting for the Pats. ‘Member the grand total of 9 wins in the years ‘90-‘92? ’Member the Patriots being thisclose to moving to St. Louis? ’Member the Patriots getting stomped in Super Bowl XX by the Bears? ’Member Bill Parcells leaving New England to coach the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets? ’Member the Lisa Olson incident? ’Member the Pete “the poodle” Carroll years? ’Member when all the home games were blacked out on local TV? ’Member when the Patriots were THE laughingstock of the entire NFL? I do. and I stuck with my team. Sure, there are PLENTY of Patriots fans who don’t remember the bad olde days; but many of us do, and we know how blessed we’ve are. If someone wants to climb aboard, and root for the Patriots, I’d love to have him. Although the Patriots haven’t had the same misery as the Browns have over recent years, I sympathize immensely and would love to see the Browns get it together. Here’s hoping things take a turn for the better. If the Patriots aren’t your bag, I would try the Bills (similar to the Browns and on the way up) or the Forty-Niners (up and coming QB and a seemingly competent front office). God be with you on your search.

I'm talking about someone being Mr. Doom Gloom over the past 3 or so years where we won two Super Bowls and made the AFCCG every year and Brady was at a minimum the best or 2nd best QB in the league and we were Super Bowl favorites. Not someone getting frustrated with them pre 2001. I however will deny any Browns fans who do not become a Jets fan for exactly one day before handing them their handkerchief of resignation. m haynes
As i said earlier in this thread. Go with San Fran and Jimmy G. Your could of had, Browns QB, if management weren't idiots.
Lilseb93
I unfortunately can't recommend the Dolphins. We've been close to Browns level for most of my life. Although at least you guys finish with top picks. Miami always finishes too bad to miss the playoffs and too good to get a good draft pick. Always in the middle and mediocre with "what ifs" and false hope.
AkronsWitness
Here are my tips on picking different teams which will help you on your quest from my own experience: 1) I didnt abandon the Browns but I did pick up a 2nd team to root for and chose the Broncos. Great history, 5 losing seasons in 38 years and a owner/gm that dont tolerate losing. Plus at the time I was in love with Clinton Portis and the stadium is unique and great. 2) Another reason to pick a 2nd team like I did is factor in the location and choose a team in a city you would like to visit. A major reason why I chose the Broncos as my 2nd team is because of Denver the city is awesome and I am a big snowboarder. So its cool to try and plan ski trips out West while also catching a Broncos game. 3) The last contributing factor is picking a 2nd team in a different part of the country. It maximizes football watching time on Sundays. Its awesome that I get to watch the Browns play at 1pm EST then follow it right up with the Broncos at 4pm. Its like a awesome 6 hour block of rooting for my team(s) on Sundays.
GongKong
Yeah. It's hard. You aren't going to easily have a Sunday love in the same way. But just stop watching the Browns at all. When friends say Kizer /Mccoy/Manziel/loserQ is the savior ans it will be different this year just yawn. When Browns trade down to compile draft picks for next year yawn. When new Q gets added to list yawn. And just watch football for fun. Find sone players you like root for them. Root for your fantasy team. But don't even watch the Browns, dont talk added about browns players, don't interact with browns "fans" at least until you see 8 and 8. Until then kitchen dog them. Rehome them. Old yeller them. Anything but watch them. My Sundays have returned and I am content. Good Luck in your divorce proceedings. Hope you get custody of the kids.
