Don't see Marvin Lewis becoming a DC. I think he's done with coaching in general, unless some sucker team wants to give him a HC position with GM authority. I believe his plan is to get into an NFL Front Office position and work his way into becoming a GM...

I don’t see Lewis going back to a coordinator job. He probably feels like he’s above it. As for if he would be a good fit, if I were you I would rather Zim call the Defensive plays, but they have similar schemes so I don’t know if it would matter that much. It's been a long time since Marvin coached a defense. A long time. There are much better options. And i doubt he wants to do it anyway.
Johnny Nix
I’m gonna laugh so hard when Marvin signs a 3 year extension. It will be mixed with crying and anger but it would be quite comical

theJ
This situation is getting funny. Shefter reports Marvin is walking away at the end of the season. Marvin says he never said that Hue says he's known about Marvin wanting to walk away for a while Reports come out that the team is blind sided by this Marvin says he hasn't talked to team Reports come out that management is blind sided by this Marvin says he hasn't talked to management Marvin when asked if he wants to return in 2018: "sure" So, are we actually supposed to believe any of this BS? ochocinco4pres
This team is becoming a joke with this stuff. So annoying with the denials and lies. Just move on.

I think what he's trying to do is keep the team focused on the last two games, which i can appreciate. But i think they'd have an easier time doing so, and the franchise would have a better chance to evaluate players for 2018, if Marvin just announced it and got it over with. Better yet, if he and Mike mutually parted ways today, and let someone like Darrin Simmons take over for two weeks. At least see what kind of HC mettle he can prove prior to an interview. Beck Bristow
If he's truly quitting of his own volition, stepping back 3 weeks ago once playoffs weren't happening would have been the best move if he wanted to set one of his guys up. Agree with that. But i'm not sure Marvin's that smart or noble.
