Team Needs?

Can you list your top 5 team needs?

In no particular order:

OT - Massie is up, position group needs improvement

WR - weakest position group on the team

RUSH - outside of Floyd, there’s nobody else, with Willie Young aging and McPhee struggling to stay healthy

CB - both Fuller and Amukamura are up

ILB - Trevethan is injury-prone and Jones is up

Pace prefers guys who are physically gifted but have a lot of upside and are still very raw as his 1st round picks.

Top needs:

2 starting WR (likely one draft, one FA... We literally only have one guy on the entire roster who belongs in the NFL though.)

OLB (Only need one starter, but I could easily see a later round selection used here as well)

High priority needs:

Right Tackle (Massie is garbage)

1-2 Corner (We need to generate some damn turnovers.. and Prince is old, Fuller has had one good season)

Other needs:

Interior OL (Sitton *LG* is older, Long *RG* is becoming an injury case , we have no backup center)

LT (Leno is passable but nothing special)

Receiving TE  (Zach Miller was lucky to keep his leg this time, Shaheen is up and coming but will probably be more in line guy... everyone else sucks)

MLB Depth ( Freeman is likely gone after multiple steroid suspensions, Trevethan is great but hasn't been consistently healthy/is getting older, and Kwiatoski can't run the defense or cover all that well)

Lesser needs, but wouldn't be surprised by

SS (Amos had a great season this year statistically, but he's just a guy)

5t (We have some guys with potential, but thus far no one really standing out/stepping up to be that guy opposite Akiem Hicks on the front 3)

Depth QB (Future Trubisky backup)

RB3 (Benny Cunningham is OK, but just a guy....if Howard goes down right now, we can't really use Cohen full time)

1...OLB...Need to improve the pass rush...getting to the QB is essential.

2...WR...quickest way to waste a young QB is to give him no one to throw too...Need someone to back up safeties and help the running game as well...probably need at least two.

3...OT...second quickest way to ruin a QB is letting him get beat up...Need to upgrade the OT spot.

4...ILB...anytime DT59 is out of the line-up our D looks lost pre snap and lose intensity on the field...add in Freeman will be gone and it makes sense to add speed to impact the second level.

5...OG/C...again adding upfront makes Trubisky more comfortable in the pocket and improves the running game...the majority of things we do this off-season has to be all about Mitch.

1 WR - this is a no brainer

2 OLB - You really only have one player at this position with a future

3 OT - Need an upgrade over Massie

4 CB - lots of questions at the position Fuller long term? Prince decent player no ints? Cut Cooper?

5 MLB - someone to replace freeman in the starting lineup

A pass rushing OLB would be my #1 need heading into the offseason.  In a division with Rodgers and Stafford, this team needs to be able to have multiple pass rushers who can get home.  Floyd is awesome, but he has already missed more than a few games in his brief NFL career and we need another young player to compliment him.

WR and OT would be the next most pressing needs and then CB/LB/K.

New owner

New President of football operations

New Head coach

New Offensive Coordinator

WR

I like how the President of Football Ops position is now considered the gold standard in front office structure solely because of Elway even though the Broncos have totally fallen off of the cliff after riding Manning’s coat tails to a Super Bowl win.

I would say Bill Parcells was the one that made it apart of the Gold standard. He was only VP but after he made the rise from a Head Coach, he made that position more common knowledge to the common fan.

This is my list, in this  order.

Also agree with G08 that 2 WRs are a  must as well.
