Mehi Becton 13 overall pick in the draft

Sam Darnold 3 overall pick in the draft

Zach Wilson   2 overall pick in the draft

two second round picks who failed Mins & Moore both wide receivers.

Then people wonder why we had a losing team, 12 out of the last thirteen years.

The Jets can't even give these bums the door without it costing money. Looks like there is no interest in any of these guys at all.

Sam Darnold is bouncing around team to team, as for Becton & Wilson they are out on the street looking for a job. We can't even make Becton an offensive guard he is to fat and slow.

Becton of all the players is incapable of playing the position without being a liability. Becton because of his history of knee issues cannot respond well to outside moves and is consistently exposed because of it. Likewise a decoy move to the outside than a rush to the inside makes him just as vulnerable. Its sad, that injuries have hampered his career and indeed he may not even see work as a back up. 2023 was a brutal year for him.

Darnold is still alive and kicking, but as of now probably a serviceable back up. Jordan Jefferson was drafted just before Mims and Moore is a head case. When Moore was with the Jets he was about to storm off the field when AVT caught him and said "We don't do that here".

Moore hasn't proven anything since his rookie season which was promising looking forward, but he's just another body on the Browns. 

I don't think the book is closed on Wilson, the talent is there, we have seen glimpses of it. N.Y. is brutal to athletes, coaches and owners. He needs to sit like Love sat and learn, and mature. Maturity goes a long way in the NFL and glamor positions if not handled correctly can become a poison to careers.

I think you guys will be surprised at what Sam Darnold can do as a Viking. He was the youngest starting QB week 1 at just 20 years old. That is crazy. The guy is still very young. Sam has seen it now and will be a guy that comes out and balls.

I hate it when fans unknowingly and perhaps unwittingly use words like "bust", granted half the QB's drafted never live up to the hype and fall by the wayside or become journey men or backups. Every year it happens, and the exception is few and far between. 

If guys succeed its good for the game, if guys turn a page and put it all together its good for the game. I hate labels, be it Karen, Snowflakes, Busts, damn life is hard enough. Instead we should be rooting for those who have had a rough go of it.

I root for people to succeed in every area of life, we can be critical, and I think it helps, but I think we must temper our expectations.

So I hope Darnold turns the corner, a light goes on and he proves the skeptics were just too demanding and has a prosperous career.
