Quote

Arizona Cardinals

4 - WR - Marvin Harrison Jr - OHIO STATE
27 - CB - Nate Wiggins - CLEMSON
35 - ED - Chop Robinson - PENN STATE
66 - iOL - Sedrick Van Pran - GEORGIA
71 - WR - Malachi Corley - W KENTUCKY
90 - LB - Jeremiah Trotter Jr. - CLEMSON
104 - IOL - Zak Zinter - MICHIGAN
138 -
162 -
186 -
209 -
226 -

Arizona uses its multitide of picks to improve its greatest areas of needs (WR corps, OL, secondary). They can still grab other depth pieces with their 5 remaining picks

Atlanta Falcons

8 - ED - Dallas Turner - ALABAMA
43 - CB - T.J. Tampa - IOWA STATE
74 - ED - Bralen Trice - WASHINGTON
79 - WR - Jermaine Burton - ALABAMA
109 - DI - Maason Smith - LSU
143 -
187 -
197 -

Atlanta OL is almost ready now, so I focused on the defense here with two edge rushers, a CB next to Terrell and Maason Smith to compete for the NT job

Baltimore Ravens

44 - IOL - Cooper Beebe - KANSAS ST
62 - ED - Chris Braswell - ALABAMA
93 - WR - Malik Washington - VIRGINIA
113 - DB - Jaylin Simpson - AUBURN
130 - OT - Christian Jones - TEXAS
165 -
218 -
228 -

I didn't love the selections available for BLT at #30 so they are a prime team to trade down. With their Day 2 and Round 4 picks they got OL help with Beebe inside and Jones outside. Braswell, Malik and Jaylin are great fits for the Ravens too

Buffalo Bills

20 - WR - Brian Thomas Jr, - LSU
98 - WR - Javon Baker - UCF
128 - DI - Fabien Lovett - FLORIDA ST
133 - DB - Sione Vaki - UTAH
144 -
160 -
163 -
200 -
204 -

I just love the BTJ - Bills fit so I think Bills try to secure him with a trade up. Ideally I would have picked someone else with the 98th pick but I think Baker was the better value here. They'll useDay 3 to try to find help on defense and on the OL

Carolina Panthers

33 - CB - Kool-Aid McKinstry - ALABAMA
39 - WR - Xavier Worthy - TEXAS
65 - ED - Adisa Isaac - PENN STATE
101 - RB - MarShawn Lloyd - USC
141 -
142 -
240 -

This is just a solid draft for the Panthers with good values at areas of needs. I think they would be happy with those guys to compete with Donte Jackson, Mingo, Wonnum and Miles Sanders respectively

Chicago Bears

1 - QB - Caleb Williams - USC
17 - DI - Byron Murphy II - TEXAS
48 - WR - Adonai Mitchell - TEXAS
75 - ED - Jonah Elliss - UTAH
122 - iOL - Hunter Nourzad - PENN STATE

Chicago needs help on the DL and another WR to help Caleb. By securing a trade down with pick #9, they can ensure to get both. I went with Murphy and Elliss on the DL but it could absolutely be Verse and Fiske for example. Bears stop the slide of Adonai as they have the luxury to figure him out Year 1 with Keenan still there. Nourzad is a reach there but with no pick after 122 and a need at center, they can afford to get the best C available

Cincinnati Bengals

18 - OL - Graham Barton - DUKE
49 - WR - Troy Franklin - OREGON
80 - DI - Ruke Orhorhoro - CLEMSON
97 - TE - Theo Johnson - PENN STATE
115 - RB - Ray Davis - KENTUCKY
149 -
194 -
214 -
224 -
237 -

Cincinnati desperately need to help Burrow. I think Barton is going top 25 so at #18 it isn't a reach for me, and he helps Cinci inside with the ability to slide at T in case of injury. Franklin falling to them is amazing, so is Ruke at 80. Theo and Ray Davis are rotation pieces to help the offense

Cleveland Browns

54 - OT - Kiran Amegadjie - YALE
85 - WR - Johnny Wilson - FLORIDA ST
156 -
206 -
243 -

Cleveland can afford the luxury of going after high upside picks. Kiran is the LT of the future and can at worst seat behind Willis. Wilson I think would be a good target for Watson and this is his range here

Dallas Cowboys

24 - iOL - Jackson Powers-Johnson - OREGON
56 - RB - Jonathon Brooks - TEXAS
87 - QB - Spencer Rattler - S CAROLINA
174 -
216 -
233 -
244 -

Not finding a T is a bummer but I don't think they will want to go Mims after going through Tyrion Smith injury conerns. So they get at least a starting C, a RB and will focus on that side of the ball. Rattler is low round option in case Dak doesn't resign

Denver Broncos

22 - QB - Bo Nix - OREGON
50 - DB - Jaden Hicks - WASH STATE
76 - TE - Ja'Tavion Sanders - TEXAS
121 - CB - Decamerion Richardson - MISS STATE
136 -
145 -
147 -
203 -
207 -

Denver gets his QB with a trade down. They associate him with a brand new weapon at TE in Sanders, who was best available imho. Hicks is much needed addition at safety and Richardson could provide competition for the outside CB2 job

Detroit Lions

29 - DB - Cooper DeJean - IOWA
61 - ED - Marshawn Kneeland - W MICHIGAN
73 - CB - Jarvis Brownlee Jr. - LOUISVILLE
164 -
201 -
205 -

I wanted to give Detroit players who would fit their culture and I think I have here. Secondary needs help and they get two guys there + a rusher opposite to Hutch. I would have gone with offense picks in Day 3

Green Bay Packers

25 - OT - Amarius Mims - GEORGIA
41 - LB - Edgerrin Cooper - TEXAS A&M
58 - DB - Javon Bullard - GEORGIA
88 - IOL - Mason McCormick - S DAKOTA ST
91 - CB - Jarrian Jones - FLORIDA ST
126 - WR - Jacob Cowing - ARIZONA
169 -
202 -
219 -
245 -

With Tom having the versatility to play all 5 spots in the OL, it offers Green Bray the possibility to take a chance on Mims. They need at least two guys there so McDormick was a nice grab at 88. Secondary also got reinforcement with Bullard at FS and Jones at CB. Cooper can start at LB right now and Cowing offers competition for the WR rotation

Houston Texans

42 - CB - Ennis Rakestraw Jr. - MISSOURI
59 - IOL - Christian Haynes - UCONN
86 - WR - Devontez Walker - N CAROLINA
123 - CB - Andru Phillips - KENTUCKY
127 - DI - Kristian Boyd - N IOWA
188 -
189 -
238 -

Another team that needed players in the secondary and in the OL. Got their guard, and two corners who can play FS/NB and offer versatility with Ward being old, often injured and a FA next year. Walker is a high upside pick to replace Diggs next year if he's gone.

Indianapolis Colts

11 - CB - Quinyon Mitchell - TOLEDO
46 - DB - Tyler Nubin - MINNESOTA
117 - ED - Mohamed Kamara - COLO STATE
151 -
191 -
234 -

Colts need help on defense and they secure the best CB and best FS in the draft. Kamara is a rotation piece at edge. As for the Lions, I would tackle offense with Day 3 picks

Jacksonville Jaguars

9 - WR - Rome Odunze - WASHINGTON
96 - CB - Renardo Green - FLORIDA ST
114 - LB - Trevin Wallace - KENTUCKY
116 - OL - Brandon Coleman - TCU
153 -
212 -
236 -

Jaguars don't have a ton of needs outside of CB but they need star power. They can get aggressive to get Rome and surround Lawrence with highly priced resources. They get a high upside corner in Green in the 3rd, and use their Round 4 picks for high upside backups

Kansas City Chiefs

32 - OT - Tyler Guyton - OKLAHOMA
64 - CB - Max Melton - RUTGERS
95 - WR - Ja'Lynn Polk - WASHINGTON
131 - DI - Brandon Dorlus - OREGON
159 -
173 -
221 -

Chiefs need a LT badly and they get their guy in Guyton here. Melton is such a Veach corner. Polk falling to 95 is great as he was considered for 64. And Dorlus would play edge for KC with upside to slide inside

Las Vegas Raiders

13 - OT - Taliese Fuaga - OREGON ST
30 - QB - Michael Penix Jr. - WASHINGTON
77 - CB - Elijah Jones - BOSTON COL
112 - iOL - Beaux Limmer - ARKANSAS
148 -
208 -
223 -
229 -

Raiders beef up their OL with Fuaga and Limmer. Will come handily to help their newest QB. I don't know if trading back in the 1st is necessary for them but they got the opportunity here so why not. Elijah Jones seems like a good fit for what the Raiders want to do defensively and they need outside CB help

Los Angeles Chargers

15 - OT - JC Latham - ALABAMA
23 - WR - Ladd McConkey - GEORGIA
37 - LB - Junior Colson - MICHIGAN
82 - RB - Blake Corum - MICHIGAN
105 - iOL - Drake Nugent - MICHIGAN
108 - DI - T'Vondre Sweat - TEXAS
110 - TE - Cade Stover - OHIO STATE
140 -
181 -
225 -

Chargers get physical players to go with Harbaugh style. Latham and Nugent improve the OL immediately, Stover is a solid run blocker and they get Corum to run behind them. On defense, Sweat is a high upside pick as I don't think they will be afraid of his personality, and Colson stays in the Minter defense he was leading last year. Ladd is a reliable guy with good run blocker, I'm sure hell be a good fit here

Los Angeles Rams

19 - ED - Laiatu Latu - UCLA
52 - LB - Payton Wilson - NC STATE
83 - DI - Mekhi Wingo - LSU
99 - WR - Brenden Rice - USC
154 -
155 -
196 -
213 -
217 -

Rams need to replace Donald production and they can't do that with one player only. Latu and Mingo can play right now for them and they got Wilson to fly behind them (no idea about Wilson health concerns though). Rice stays in LA and will offer an outside presence to complement Kupp and Puka

Miami Dolphins

21 - DI - Jer'Zhan Newton - ILLINOIS
55 - OL - Dominick Puni - KANSAS
158 -
184 -
198 -
241 -

With only 2 picks in the first 4 rounds, I wanted to find a trade down but couldn't see someone moving up at 21. So they got Newton to replace Wilkins and Puni offers versatility for an OL that needs help

Minnesota Vikings

5 - QB - Drake Maye - N CAROLINA
69 - DI - Braden Fiske - FLORIDA ST
129 - RB - Jaylen Wright - Tennessee
157 -
167 -
177 -
230 -
232 -

With Maye sliding, he's an obvious pick here. Fiske is good value start of the 3rd and Vikings needs someone inside. Wright is an explosive rusher who could complement Aaron Jones well

New England Patriots

3 - QB - J.J. McCarthy - MICHIGAN
34 - OT - Kingsley Suamataia - BYU
68 - DI - Kris Jenkins - MICHIGAN
103 - CB - D.J. James - AUBURN
137 -
180 -
193 -
231 -

I think JJ might go #3 instead of Maye? He would be a good culture and scheme fit for the Pats. They get his left tackle in the 2nd. Jenkins and DJ James are good values at position of need

New Orleans Saints

14 - OT - Olumuyiwa Fashanu - PENN STATE
45 - WR - Xavier Legette - S CAROLINA
150 -
168 -
170 -
175 -
190 -
199 -
239 -

With Saints regime on its last legs, they surround Carr with another receiver and a left tackle to hope for a miracle season on offense. They will find depth with their 7 remaining picks

New York Giants

6 - WR - Malik Nabers - LSU
47 - DI - Michael Hall Jr. - OHIO STATE
70 - CB - Kris Abrams-Draine - MISSOURI
107 - RB - Trey Benson - FLORIDA ST
166 -
183 -

Rome or Nabers is a good question for #6 as I think both are options. Hall Jr is a great fit for NYG and though it might be a tad early for him, I think he'll go before we think. KAD would offer another guy for NY secondary. Benson is great value early Round 4 and would work well in Giants backfield imho

New York Jets

10 - TE - Brock Bowers - GEORGIA
72 - OT - Blake Fisher - NOTRE DAME
111 - WR - Jamari Thrash - LOUISVILLE
134 - IOL - Javion Cohen - MIAMI FL
185 -

Maybe a tad too much on offense but that's clearly the unit that needs help. They get weapons for ARod and OL depth which they need. They're all in, as they should, so they need immediate help and they get it here

Philadelphia Eagles

12 - CB - Terrion Arnold - ALABAMA
53 - OL - Roger Rosengarten - WASHINGTON
120 - LB - Edefuan Ulofoshio - WASHINGTON
161 -
171 -
172 -
210 -

I know, Howie won't trade up for a CB. I'm fully prepared to be wrong here. But it's such an obvious need and player fit ... They do get OL help in the 2nd with Rosengarten and LB competition with Ulofoshio.

Pittsburgh Steelers

28 - iOL - Zach Frazier - W VIRGINIA
51 - WR - Roman Wilson - MICHIGAN
60 - CB - Kamari Lassiter - GEORGIA
84 - OT - Javon Foster - MISSOURI
119 - LB - Tommy Eichenberg - OHIO STATE
178 -
195 -

Frazier is another great culture fit for me. Steelers secure him with a trade down and get a developmental OT later in Foster. Wilson ability to go deep and run block is a great fit for this offense. Lassiter is guy that would be a good fit as well. Eichenberg is more of rotation guy at LB

San Francisco 49ers

31 - OL - Jordan Morgan - ARIZONA
63 - WR - Ricky Pearsall - FLORIDA
94 - CB - Cam Hart - NOTRE DAME
124 - IOL - Isaiah Adams - ILLINOIS
132 - DB - Kamren Kinchens - MIAMI FL
135 - DI - DeWayne Carter - DUKE
176 -
211 -
215 -

Love Morgan and Adams fits for their zone running schemes. Pearsall is a great profile to complement or replace Ayiuk/Deebo and I'm sure he's someone they'd look at if he falls to 63. Cam Hart can compete with Yiadom for CB2 and Kinchens will get a chance at the FS job. Carter is depth for a DL that lost Armstead in the offseason

Seattle Seahawks

16 - OL - Troy Fautanu - WASHINGTON
81 - DB - Dadrion Taylor-Demerson - TEXAS TECH
102 - iOL - Tanor Bortolini - WISCONSIN
118 - LB - Marist Liufau - NOTRE DAME
179 -
192 -
235 -

Fautanu can start at G right now or at RT if Lucas isn't ready to go, and Seattle will value this versatility. Bortolini is another guy for an iOL that needs starters. I love DTD is a Mike McDonald offense is the Marcus Williams role. Liufau can fly, he might be worth a shot for Seattle

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

26 - ED - Jared Verse - FLORIDA ST
57 - CB - Khyree Jackson - OREGON
89 - IOL - Christian Mahogany - BOSTON COL
92 - LB - Cedric Gray - N CAROLINA
125 - TE - Erick All - IOWA
220 -

Tennessee Titans

7 - OT - Joe Alt - NOTRE DAME
38 - ED - Darius Robinson - MISSOURI
106 - WR - Jalen McMillan - WASHINGTON
146 -
182 -
227 -
242 -

I just think this would a rock solid draft for the Titans with the best LT in the draft, a physical DLineman in Darius and McMillian who is a very reliable WR3 for Levis

Washington Commanders

2 - QB - Jayden Daniels - LSU
36 - OT - Patrick Paul - HOUSTON
40 - WR - Keon Coleman - FLORIDA ST
67 - CB - Mike Sainristil - MICHIGAN
78 - TE - Ben Sinnott - KANSAS ST
100 - DB - Cole Bishop - UTAH
139 -
152 -
222 -

Washington gets its franchise QB, his LT, two new weapons in Coleman and Sinnott. Daniels will likely be happy the resources provided to help him. Sainristil is a great fit and value here at NB for Washington. Bishop can provide competition at S and eventually start

Don't like Barton at 18, he's not a top 20 player in this class.

I'm good with Franklin at 49, had they gone defense at 18 then Rosengarten would make a lot of sense at 49

Love Ruke at 80, I don't think he'll last that long, but stranger things have happened in the draft.  I wouldn't hate Ruke at 49 honestly.

I get the reasoning for Theo Johnson at 97, go for the athletic upside that you don't need to contribute right away, I just don't think the Bengals would do that.

Ray Davis is a possibility at 115.  Wouldn't hate it, wouldn't love it.  Wouldn't take him over Coleman, Eichenberg, Ulofoshio, Richardson, and maybe even Boyd.  Would much rather go with Jaylan Wright if they went RB here.  Would like Dorlus had they not gone with Ruke at 80.

Barton at 18 sinks this to a C grade for me if the Bengals did it this way.  Given the board, I would have gone:

18. Johny Newton, DT, Illinois
49. Roger Rosengarten, OT, Washington
80. Cedric Gray, LB, North Carolina
97. Brenden Rice, WR, USC
115. Jaylan Wright, RB, Tennessee

Hindsight alternative

18. Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
49. Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
80. Ruke Orhorhoro, DT, Clemson
97. Jaylan Ford, LB, Texas
115. Jaylan Wright, RB, Tennessee

Don't really need 2 EDGES with Ebiketie, Carter and Malone already at EDGE with Turner selected as the guy. Maybe go with the WR here.

BAd pick. Falcons care about character and Burton is a character scratch for them. Another WR would be fine, but if you go WR at 74, OT is fine, S is fine, IDL is fine.

I really don't think any of these guys should prevent you from drafting someone in the 3rd at a position where it's better to be 4-deep. With WR being a choice 5 picks later (choice of player not withstanding, your point on Burton is valid), and with no SS or NT that I really like at that spot, I think another edge is a possibility, no the only one of course, but a good one still.

Thanks for the feedback!

Overall a solid draft and i personaly don't agree with Scar at all on the double dipping at Edge.  Not only do i like it i wouldn't even be against trading back up into the 1st to double dip on the top 3 or so guys if one falls that low. carter is meh at best and malone is a bum to me most the time so i don't even calculate them into the matter i'll cut malone right now XD.      If we can take Latu or Turner at 8 and then one of latu, turner, verse fall to the mid 20's im for sure putting in a call to offer  43 and some other goodies to see if i can get him if it doesn't take a 1st next year to do it.   Im a big bralen trice fan so im more than happy to take him on the Falcons with that later of a pick.

Now with that said i don't mind the positions you took i just wouldn't have taken the same players you took at each position.  like Latu over  Turner, and i have Tampa as like my 15th guy at CB.  I like so many more guys in round 3 over him like Phillips, Sainristril, Melton, rakestraw etc...

Same for WR im not a Burton guy although i don't care much about his caracter considering i want Sweat on the team as well i would be a hypocrite if i said that and i wanted Carter last year LOL.  I just don't have Burton as high as alot of other WR's in this deep class.

So as said im fine with the draft as it sits it hits need and i wouldn't complain come draft day but for me personally with other players it could be a ton better.   Here's what i would have done at each pick.

Also if the Jags want 8 im 100% taking that call the Falcons should for sure trade down if possible.  I'll even give them 8 + 6th for those 2 picks to give them a extra pick and jump the bears who prob. want Odunze as well.

#17 -   Latu - Edge
2a -   Tyler Nubin  - SS
2b -  AD Mitchell -  WR
3a - Trice or Ellis - Edge i love both players
3b - T'vondre Sweat - NT
4th - Andru Phillips - CB - as said i would take him over Tampa anyways so in the 4th is a steal.

5th  to 7th   - BPA  maybe a 3-4 edge, OR, or QB thrown in like Milton or Travis.

Don't like Barton at 18, he's not a top 20 player in this class.

I'd be surprised if Barton isn't drafted in the top 25. You might not feel that way (I personally don't either), but versatile OL in a draft full of teams that need help at tackle and guard/center (like the Bengals) are going to get pushed up imho

I'm not a Latu guy at all personally but either way it's more a matter of how they're viewed by the teams. I tend to think Turner is higher on team boards but maybe I'm wrong. Tampa is really a good match for Morris defense I feel. I think he fits the need of an outside zone corner more than the guys you named - but maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah I considered the Jags going to 8 and not 9, but, I think the Falcons are really close to competing and they just need a couple of difference makers on defense. Why trade back when you can grab one right there?

It would be very disappointing if the Giants don’t trade with Cardinals for Maye

Do the Giants staff have enough job security to take someone like Maye who's very much a work in progress?

I may be wrong, but I think the Giants QB thing is all smoke. Also, I think the Cards have already a thousand picks, don't know if they would be really willing to trade down.

Because the Falcons can trade back and still have the majority of the guys to choose from to help us compete + get more picks which we do need.  We are not as close as people make us out to be we are weak at like 5 or 6 positions.  Their is a good reason most Falcon fans really want a trade back this year compared to other years.  1. We feel this draft is the perfect draft for us to do it.  Because  Latu, Turner, Verse, Mitchell, Arnold all have a very good chance to be there within 12 to 18 and we need a extra day 2 pick to actually fill needs we have.   We have legit needs at   Edge, WR, CB, SS, NT, LB   Those are actual starting needs or #2 guys like WR and CB.  SS needs a actual starter as does a true 320+ NT we don't have 1 guy at either position you can trust to start on the team.   Everyone seems to think we need a 3-4 Edge a well for some reason i don't see it but you can add that to the list as well since everyone gives us one lol.

Latu to me is easily the best edge in this class and is my #1 defensive player in the entire class and as of like 3 or 4 days ago Latu actually became the #1 betting odds favorite in vegas for us at 8 and our insider Jben/Jeff that called a few things this offseason ahead of time not sure who he knows but it's gotta be someone for as accurate as he is a week or 2 in advance.   Said it was Trade down + Latu with the trade down or if no trade down Latu at 8.   Then literally 3 or 4 days later Vegas pushes him as our #1 betting favorite.  So that source is coming from somewhere for both things to pick up on it within a week.

Here is a list so far jben has nailed the last 2 years  Thanks to millenium falcon on this list on the falcons website lol.  I forgot a few of these he nailed.

He said the Falcons would take Bijan Robinson at #8 and Matthew Bergeron in the second round last year.
- Said the Falcons would sign Charlie Woerner several hours before anyone reported it.
- Said the Falcons would sign Darnell Mooney hours before anyone reported it.
- Said Falcons are trying hard to sign Danielle Hunter. Said Falcons are out of it and reported he will probably sign with the Texans.
- plus cousins as well.

Now with that said watch it be one of the edges and no trade down and we take DT or TE at 8 and they all look like fools our insider and vegas and i stay mad for the rest of the night XD

Yes, for a QB in the top 6. No, for the later rounds. That’s why you brought in Daboll.

You are right about the Cardinals, but they only be dropping two spots, likely will have a strong chance at Harrison still, as Chargers need to trade down no matter what. 1 more extra pick for Arizona could help them move up farther in the first for another premium player.

You might be right about the Cards.

But actually, unfortunately for Giants fans, I think Daboll and Schoen have made their bed when they extended Daniel Jones. Now they need to get the best out of him to get a bit of leeway, imho.

They can get out next year with just $20M in dead money. Nothing in QB money. He also had a torn ACL and a 2nd neck injury. Those aren’t things we can just ignore,p.
