1) A sore isn't classified as a "major" injury.

2) They never reported any injury in either the in-game reports or the when they submitted the IR claim. In fact, they didn't specify anything in the reports.

They put players on IR for turf toe and contusions.

He may have had a contused shoulder after the game and didn't realize it until after the game.

...so did the NFL come out as say they didn't specify anything?

Yeah. That was one of things that caught other teams' attention.

Nope. Had that happened then other teams who know alot more than you or I wouldn't have had anything to complain about.

End of story.

but... you arguing is going to make the NFL turn to the Packers and make them put Rodgers out for waivers.

instead of saying the Packers broke the rules, maybe you should be putting a bit more of this on the NFL.

Obviously they thought it was fine or they would not allow him to go to the IR

multiple teams reportedly complained to the NFL about the Packers' usage of the injured reserve designation.

When they placed Rodgers back on injured reserve, they did not provide an injury-specific reason for placing him on IR. Everyone just sort of assumed the Packers were placing him on IR with the same collarbone injury that had kept him out since Week 7 when he hurt it against the Vikings. The plan was obvious all along: bring him back in Week 15, make a Hail Mary run to the playoffs and hope to just catch fire.

Quote

It is not believed that Rodgers suffered any type of new injury last Sunday against Carolina. If Rodgers didn't suffer a new injury but was placed back on IR anyway, NFL rules stipulate that the Packers would have to release him -- which nobody expects will happen. It is why multiple teams raised the issue. Teams wanted to know why the Packers were being granted immunity.

End of story.

So it was "believed" and "assumed"......

Never verified. Just a bunch of guessing. For all we know he could of re-broke his collarbone.

Did something come out after this? Why aren't the Owners/Gm's still pushing this? Did the NFL ever respond to the teams about this?

I would assume the NFL had a statement to the owners and GM's of the teams. They probably announced why it was let go. If not the teams would be all over this.

Now you are getting to the point you are arguing just to argue because you don't like the Packers... It makes sense. I get being a fan of another team. But everything is going to be okay... I promise.
