So CSU's QB ate crow and attempted to act sportsmanlike after the game to make amends, something that Shedeur has never done. Your PR campaign for him is very weird, dude.

How often do you watch sports?  Are you 10 years old or something?  To consider the things Shedeur has done after the game or during the game a big deal, your depth of viewing sports must be extremely limited or you just have a crazy vendetta against him or his father.

PR Campaign?  This is what you said about Shedeur Sanders and you are trying quite hard to prove yourself correct.

"I'm the man... y'all are barely even worthy to be on the same field as me. Check out my watch!".

"cocky little kid who thinks he's the best to ever walk the earth and won't hear it from anybody."

"He's an insecure ******, and it seems like his father is too after years of good PR"

What will you say when he is a top 10 pick in the 2025 draft?  I question your judgement because basically you have no track record of judgement, so yes when you say some crazy stuff about how cocky and awful Shedeur Sanders is, I am going to say something.  Once more, follow sports and you will see that "cocky" behavior from the best athletes regardless of sport more often than not.

But instead you can go try and find little clips on the internet to show how awful Shedeur Sanders is as a person.  At least I have opinions of hundreds of players not named Shedeur Sanders, you apparently do not.

How about this, go find another QB who has thrown their OL under the bus, actively disparaged other head coaches and former teammates, and has been coached by his dad who quite clearly plays favorites. Then you'll have room to talk about how Shedeur's behavior isn't out of the ordinary.

I never said he's not going to be a top 10 pick; he has talent and it's a weak draft class. If he matures, he'll likely be a fine pro. I don't see him maturing.

Why do you think I don't have opinions on players not named Shedeur Sanders? Very bold assumption to make just because I think a dude who very clearly is a bit of a jerk, is actually a jerk. Once again, very weird.

There's a difference between having an alpha dog mentality, and being a little sh*t. Brady, Burrow, Rivers, Cam Newton, Troy Aikman, Peyton Manning, etc. all carried themselves with a swagger of "I'm the man, and this is how we're gonna have to get it done. So buckle up, get your crap together, and let's go win this football game"; whereas Shedeur carries himself with a swagger of "I'm the man... y'all are barely even worthy to be on the same field as me. Check out my watch!". I think there's a strong division between how those two styles of arrogance come off in a locker room.

I remember the biggest impact in coaching I've ever had said this to me early; "You're the best athlete I've seen on the field. As soon as you get some skills, learn to walk the line between confident and cocky."

You're post here makes me think of that. Of the current QB's it brings to mind Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, Stroud. They all walk that cocky/confident line perfectly. They talk a lot about being able make any play, any throw, but they are humble enough to know good players make good plays. So their statements always come off as confident not cocky.

I feel like there's a growing group of CFB QB's who have been struggling more with this concept.

I'm torn.  On one hand, I love his confidence and belief in himself.  I'm all for boasting usually.  On the other hand... how is what someone said on Instagram the first thing you think to bring up when you see the opposing QB at midfield?  Just a lot of red flags when it comes to his ability to withstand criticism, which is probably a consequence of having his father coach him in HS and college.  I like him as a player but that really concerns me.

In isolation that clip is not a big deal at all, but again just so many signs he's giving that his attitude could be a problem

Pregame - that CoST QB should be talking trash. Right? Biggest rival, get the base riled up.

In game - I thought him hitting Hunter with the too small for escorting him OB was funny.

But why are those reasons to not shake someone hand? Like go shake the hand, cover your mouth to say something like that, and move on. I know last week the claim was that he was injured and that's why he left the field, so there was no hand shaking there. So now the issue becomes that people will start watching for this. It draws unnecessary attention to something that doesn't matter.

To me that comes back to what I said above - walk the line between confidence and cockiness. Best way to do that? Be very humble, shake hands by seeking him out, and move on.

Overall issue I would have drafting Sanders is he brings a lot of attention to your program and it's not so much about what he does on the field. He's put a target on himself (every defender wants to hit him or get hands on his passes) and he's put a target on his team (I've seen teams take shots at Colorado players they don't take on other teams); when you talk NFL every game is tough enough as is. There are no Colorado States or the like in the NFL.

I think Sanders could have a really good NFL career.  My biggest worry is whats between the ears and if he has that dawg in him.  He left the sidelines early when Nebraska beat them and then turned around at Colorado State and talked **** after the game when they won.  He seems to blame everyone else on the team quite a bit too.  I would personally be scared to draft a dude with those personality "flaws", but most wont be and he could turn into a really good pro.
