Cool thing is: dude barely played MLB in his life and hes pretty good. Imagine in two years with the experience and evolved instincts that come with reps. His pass coverage will improve greatly, already having the hips, quickness, and fluidity for coverage. Schobert could mature into a special backer. Having good DTs infront of him also helps and will be important in the future to protect him.
pscottdai
And the amount of negative comments about how horrible he was, a wasted pick, blah, blah, blah all through last year....let the picks have some time to develop before throwing em under the bus ! Maybe, just maybe they will turn out decent.

NateDawg
Schobert improved quite a bit. I definitely don’t think he should be in Hawaii, but good for him. Bitonio was his typical self this year. When healthy, one of the best guards in the league. Could use the same nastiness out of Zeitler next year. See Peppers now. Coaching is extremely important. Glad to see Schobert there, well deserved.

Mastercheddaar
Good hopefully we see a bit of orange this year in that boring game. That is all Mastercheddaar
DawgX
Schobert was easily one of our biggest pleasant surprises this year. I was just hoping he'd be merely average as a starter, but he's been well above average.

First of all, he wasn't deserving. Great run defense but has only been okay in terms of rushing the passer this year. And second of all, the pro bowl is a popularity contest. I'm honestly surprised that Schobert is an alternative, but I'd say he's fairly deserving. Just didn't expect it because he isn't very well known. This is an individual achievement, not a team award. Browns as a team were awful but they were a few of the bright spots
Reginaldm9
Schobert definitely shouldn't be going, but the pro bowl is a sham anyways so whatever. He's had a ton of tackles but that's a primary indicator of always being on the field due to the ineptness of Hue and Kizer. If our offense is even 10% better, Schobert never goes. He's a solid player but this is a credit to how dumb the pro bowl really is.
