As it appears that you shouldn't.  Q getting lit up already.  He's such a dumpster fire this year.  I'm sure he will be left out of the playoff rotation and he will get plenty of rest leading into 2019.  Hopefully that's all this is.

But why the **** is La Stella starting at 3B and hitting 5th?  Did Bote stub his toe in the shower this morning?  He's actually been better against RHPs than LHPs in his short time in the big leagues, and his defense is much, much better.  That's even before mentioning how terrible La Stella has been since about June.

I don't know, Maddon making his weird hitting decisions I guess. And I can't believe Eloy died for this.

Pretty depressing to think that the package dealt for Q probably gets deGrom this year.  Q was really good for us last year, and I'm not forgetting that, but he's just been awful in 2018.  Like I said, hopefully a full offseason of rest does the trick for him.

Ugh, don't remind me, hopefully he gets it together in 2019. That's all I got.

So uhh... Terrance Gore?

Theo just loves to have that pinch-runner available for the playoffs.  Or maybe it's Joe.  Not sure.

But MFing David Bote just keeps playing the hell out of the game of baseball.  Solid single in the 1st in front of Rizzo's bomb.  A web gem at 3B to rob Cain of an infield hit.  Scoring from 3rd on a wild pitch only 3 feet from home plate.  It's not hard to put him in the lineup every day, Joe.

Lester looking pretty sharp tonight.

Man, did he ever need that start.  He had put up a few absolute clunkers since the AS break.  Bats were iffy again though, and it's probably due to Javy being in a bit of a slump.  .167/.188/.267 line over his past 8 games.

It hurts so much, why is he even pitching at this point?

With Monty going down and the team about to hit a huge stretch of games with no rest, I get wanting to put him out there and hoping he could eat some innings, but man was it bad to watch.
