Kathouse Sticks
It was sad to hear of the passing today of **** Enberg. It’s another passing of an announcer that I grew up with watching the NFL every week. So l was thinking back to the announcing teams l enjoyed listening to the most. This is not in any particular order, but were my favorites. **** Enberg and Merlin Olsen Curt Gowdy and Al Derogatis Pat Summerall and Tom Brookshier Pat Summerall and John Madden Don Criqui and Bob Trumpy **** Enberg and Paul Maguire These guys kill what we have to listen to today, in my opinion. l didn’t know l should have typed, “Richard” Enberg. My bad.

Thomas5737
I don't really care too much about any announcing team unless they are terrible. Below average to great and I'm okay with you. If you are Solomon Wilcots then I'm not going to like you. I always liked Marv Albert.

Bucketheadsdad
I don't generally watch too many other games besides the Browns (yeah, I know it is a digital form of self mutilation), but the few times that I've watched Tony Romo broadcasting, I've been somewhat impressed. Enberg and Olsen were great. Pat Summerall and Brookshier were terrific as well. I enjoyed Dan Dierdorf as well.

I think he had to carry most of the conversations when he was dating Jessica Simpson, so it helped prepare him for this career.
brooks1957
I never listen to the TV announcers - I mute the TV and listen to Jimmy and Doug on the radio
