JustPlainNasty
UP 1a. TJ Watt - He was a menace. I dont usually get too overhyped by TJ but he legitimately had 3 sacks 2 of them were strip sack fumbles that we recovered both and he recovered another fumble. Had other TFL's and they did a lot to help out on him throughout the game. 1b Chris Boswell - He legitimately has been 1a/b kicker in the league for several years and just for one down year a few years back where he was human he was always right there with Tucker. Tucker like Drago is not a machine and he does bleed and misses kicks more than Boz who is the most accurate kicker all time of 50yd + FGs. Its funny (but not really)how the media always mentions like 4 or 5 others that are one or two year wonders all the time, but fails to mention Boz when the bring up the best kickers 3. Zach Frazier - didnt go back to watch the tape but from the plays I saw, it kind of gives you the chills and a smile to see quality center play ..Thank God !! 4. George Pickens - making the plays when he needed to. Minus the Diontae like not getting out of bounds right away. 5. Payton Wilson - he was involved a good bit , lead blocking on the pick, other tackles, but most important play of the game that is being overlooked was really seemed like a saving tackle on Bijan . If he didnt grab him like that at the very least looked like it could go for a very big run if not a home run. Getting his feet wet. DOWN 1. Cameron Johnston injury sucks. Thats a huge piece to this puzzle and like Frazier replacing Cole this was similar in replacing Harvin. Thankfully the signed Waitmann. 2. The penalties/refs. Im usually pretty unbiased or understanding I feel, but the penalties were so ticky tacky and in huge moments, game changing on what really weren't penalties. Not to mention the calls were like 7-0 and then 8-2(something like that) Pittsburgh vs Atlanta. George's OPI was probably the worst, but TJ at worst timed that perfectly and I forget what the other issue was with TJ strip sack but it was messed up. 3. Van Jefferson did something, was it a drop or something I forget. 4. Jaylen didnt get the ball much and I started him on my fantasy team, I have too many rooks at the moment. Hope hes ready to go next week. 5. I had to work and missed some of the 3rd and pretty much the whole 4th qtr. Couple other snap count oddities I’m hoping to chalk up to week 1 things, but I hope Pruitt doesn’t take 60% of the snaps and that Patterson doesn’t touch the ball on 40% of his snaps I’d add Patrick Queen to downs. That was a rough watch. Im concerned about the secondary…but it won’t matter this week or if the defensive front plays like it did again
